First we used knives to whittle our sycamore sticks, then we wrapped dough around them, then we cooked the bread over the fire… then we smeared it with chocolate spread 😋 @ACEdoves

As an introduction to our new English key text, we took a trip to forest school. The children found hidden clues, and enjoyed a small snack, which features in the new story. Following this, they made predictions about the book🥚

Y3 cooked bread on the fire today. Then smothered it in chocolate spread… yum! 🔥

Can you construct a shelter that your whole team can fit under and that would keep you dry in the rain? 🏕 #forestschool
