What has happened to acceptable entry level salaries in the cultural heritage sector? Looking at various ads fly by that pay less today than my first f/t role did in 2002... I mean I know you don't get into it to get rich, but you may want to do luxury stuff like afford to eat?

This is my biggest fear about where we are with language based generative AI - an absolute crumbling of digital infrastructure that allows you to find anything real - or know what is legit. We'll need some fair trade certification for hand-hewn words, soon...
