Damn that @WATERSHED_i map is terrifying.
River Lea at Ware, tests positive for 39 different chemicals capable of liver damage, carcinogen, kidney damage, hormone imbalance, toxic to fauna and flora and death amongst other things.
I've been fishing that river for 25 years. 😱
We've mapped the EA's results on the Watershed Pollution Map. Click through the pop up boxes at each site 2/2

Well, tonight was an absolute blast provided by @GcrGreat with @ADPeventsCo for fine dining on a steam train and murderous drama from @JeffBenhur and the team. We only went and solved the crime!
What a fabulous night with @ignatius_sancho Paterson Joseph at @NottmPlayhouse a very entertaining and genuine person who held me with his story from start to finish…

@MariaJoseBavio needs your help in her battle against cancer. PLEASE help her by donating and or sharing - even if it’s only a quid - it all helps 🙏 If 70,000 people just did that it would give her the treatment she needs that’s not available on the NHS

"Polluting water firms face unlimited fines from today."
Nothing but #greenwashing. Power was never the issue, the EA has lots, always has, never being used it to full effect. Wanna guess how many mega fines will be handed out in the next 12 months?

"They promised us an affluent society - they gave us an effluent society."
Very fine words from a very fine man. Thank you once agin @KevinBrennanMP for exposing the sham that is the water industry, its regulation and govt oversight.
Tory Governments promised us an affluent society - they gave us an effluent society.
Failure to prevent illegal sewage leaks has led to increased discharges, trashing nature, damaging tourism & health risks.
Water companies should pay to fix this not taxpayers. @Feargal_Sharkey

Wouldn't it be nice to make it 2,000,000?
104 days after been fined £90m for dumping sewage into the environment and less than 12 hours after Gov voted to protect water companies and not our rivers, @SouthernWater were dumping sewage at 60, yes 60, different locations along the south coast of England.
#COP26 hypocrisy

NEWS FLASH: 56% of people say sewage is going to influence how they vote at the general election. Huge well done. 👏👏👏
Responsibility lays firmly and squarely at the feet of govt, regulators and industry.
NOW TO MAKE IT 76%

Today, looking back to 2015 when I was fortunate to join the Agatha Christie Radio Company performing for the guests onboard cruise ship Balmoral, supporting this talented cast with a Poirot appearance lnkd.in/e93sKD4w
