Can I disagree with some of the things Ogden guys believe without being like "MaRK and AVOID!"? Or does that make me a "mArK and AvOid" too?

This isn't complicated or some secret code for being a "racist" (LOL! ). Will rightly brought up these laughably bad arguments from Neil Shenvi and I responded to them. Neil is so terribly wrong here it's hard to know where to begin. But the bottom line is no, Sameul Sey, or anyone else, does not "belong" in America just because they are a "good man." That's not how we make immigration policy and it's no excuse for breaking the law.
The only people who “belong” in America are American citizens. Whatever you think about Samuel Sey’s situation, we can’t let actors like @NeilShenvi weaponize it to make emotional appeals for bad immigration law. Glad @willchamberlain brought this up when I joined him on Counterweight!

If you want to end slavery, preach the gospel. Or… You can be like William Wilberforce and do both: preach the gospel and work to end slavery. Why not do the same with pursuing a nation that promotes true religion: Christianity? Preach the gospel and work toward a government that submits to Christ.
If you want a Christian nation, preach the gospel.

So much drama is kicked up on here by old guard (many of whom i like and respect) being angry that the rank and file no longer listen the way they once did. Whether or not its bad the that they no longer do is debatable, but you have to be able to respond better than this!

"If your brother is doing something you don't like, just go over to him and say "please don't do that." Reasonable wisdom I overheard from my wife just now, and something I hope my kids learn while they are young.

I had Grok scan the last ten years of podcasts arguing in favor of Christian Nationalism, and it pulled 329 episodes totaling almost 400 hours. So if you were to listen to them all, that is SEVEN AND A HALF WEEKS of straight listening time. This doesn’t even count articles, videos, other podcasts that the AI missed, any of the resources shared in the 150+ comments on your post, or the books that have been written about the topic—all giving a “robust biblical defense.” Shoot, I can go to my bookshelf RIGHT NOW and pull four books down that do just that. But your problem isn’t the argument, Mike. It’s the men making it. You find them rude, uncouth, and unsavory. You’ve accepted the accusations that they’re Nazis, racists, bigots, and antisemites—the same accusations thrown at them for the last decade for making the very “robust biblical defense” of Christian Nationalism you’re asking for. You’ve bought the liberal frame, you’ve adopted the slanderous accusations, and you’ve willfully participated in some of the outward attacks against these men... not for the argument’s sake... but because you simply think that all of these men are beneath you. These same men have faithfully endured this while you and many others sat comfortably at a safe distance from the difficult edge of the conversation, tossing your occasional tomatoes. Many of these men I call friends, colleagues, acquaintances, co-laborers in Christ... and they have endured almost a decade (maybe more) of doxxing, death threats, slander, accusations, financial damage, reputational damage, and so much more. All for you to call them “clowns and villains,” just like the godless liberals have. So enjoy sticking your toe in the water, Mike. And when your pride allows you to come down with the peasants, let us know. Until then, your string of Christian Nationalism posts are a LARP and engagement bait. Do the reading and get over yourself.

We discovered the Democrats are planning to use contested elections to trigger a color revolution and no one really seems to care Already fell out of the news coverage, no charges, no action taken Just a coup being planned with zero response

allow me to O'Fallonmaxx for a moment here: I told you so. I warned you. What did I say when trump got elected? I said, get your spine ready - becuase every sob story under the sun is coming to rob you of your wits. I warned you.
Not terribly surprising “conservatives” who thought war in the Middle East was more important than deportations abandoned even their fig leaf of support the minute their favorite illegal got deported

What sucks about the Brewers dominating the league this year is that Stearns is going to be able to use it to trick Cohen into believing hes a genius and has a 10 year plan to turn the Mets into champions.

We're doing this again. Every proposition of revealed theology is grounded in Scripture. "Christ is Lord" is grounded in Scripture. But if your audience already accepts these propositions, you don't need to prove them. You can simply assume them in your argument. My guess is that Winger doesn't prove "The Bible is infallible" every time he makes a biblical argument, because his audience typically affirms that. When you and your audience agree on a set of propositions, you can then proceed with a logical argument using them. That's what I did.
Yes. He made a point NOT to ground what he was doing in Scripture yet called it Christian and tried to convince others to follow it as a matter of faithfulness. What more do we need than that? The fact he admits it doesn't make it better.
