Happy Juneteenth! As Frederick Douglass said, there are two Americas, and only by bringing true freedom to both can we live up to our founding principles.

Today, we celebrate what's also known as #FreedomDay honoring African American heritage by commemorating the announcement of the abolition of slavery. Celebrated on June 19, the term is a portmanteau of June and nineteenth.
Happy #Juneteenth!
