AFLW coach sackings Saints 1 win “they made us put stuff back where we found it and leave meeting rooms on time” Bombers 1 win “they would have given more support for the men’s team” Pies 1 win “C Kelly” doesn’t care for our program” Not once heard that the players are no good

W/ the holding the balls this season, this tick off as a correct no-call is baffling…she steps, swivels the arms to protect the ball, swivels back, takes 2 steps, makes 0 contact w/ the ball…wait til we see the exact same action but oppo decision this week
The AFL has ticked off two contentious non-decisions in these final minutes - the insufficient intent kick from Keely Coyne, and the non htb call on Aine McDonagh after the Sophie Strong tackle

Nothing like putting your best players in show with a 9am Perth start time
You know what else would help grow player recognition? Not cutting broadcasts and having a decent fixture.

Club CEO’s etc oversee both men’s and women’s football programs at each club and preach 1-club mentalities so if you’re not doing for one what you do for the other than that’s a clear-cut bias
“Wouldn’t happen in the mens game” doesn't refer to differences in how the game is adjudicated/played. It refers to injustices & inequalities in the treatment of AFLW players/staff which don't happen in MensAFL. It's an attempt to highlight a gender bias occurring in that moment.

I feel it is league-directed as well which is either inept or sabotaging and they’re stifling their own product
It's fair to say the AFLW umpiring and its 'holding the ball' rule is ruining the game. It cannot be that hard to interpret!

Lots of "no 2nd efforts" comments getting around on this one but no other key forward has a poorer combination of low help, delivery and playing against an outnumber more than Warldaw has this year and then there's the Saints coaching as a whole that does zero for any key forward
A selection statement at St Kilda AFLW this week: Expect Jesse Tawhiao-Wardlaw to be left out against her old team Brisbane. Interested in how the Saints frame/explain it. Interim coach Matt Brewer is making a point of setting new standards with two games to go. @7AFL @1116sen @7NewsMelbourne

Wouldn’t have thought that was his job as a player
Easy done you don’t like it, go help the marketing department go secure another deal so your club isn’t disadvantaged? 👍😎

Is it the only thing on tv where you live?
Replying to @SaintsTragic
It wouldn't even be an issue, but it's RAMMED down our throats and creeps into coverage we actually want to enjoy. It's literally forced on us, which is why some of us (me included) push back. We are sick of it...

1 man's financial lost is another man's financial investment
The game is at a financial loss year upon year. The AFLW expanded too quickly without much thought in my opinion.

Nothing wrong with a clap back at the hundreds of shit comment she cops every week from anonymous accounts with zero accountability and are simply from being a female commenting on AFL and them being severely butt hurt over it that they’re not and their jealousy oozes fragile-ego
Going down the WNBA road .. one step forward and shoot yourself in the foot Good on them for the record.. the back handed comment just opens it up for ridicule

Do I dare open the comments?
