The Fire Service and the council's StreetCare teams are dealing with flooding across several areas of South Glos.
A number of roads are affected including the following which are currently closed and unlikely to clear quickly:
• A431 Bath Rd Swineford
• Shire Way Yate (and adjacent roads)
• St Johns Way Chipping Sodbury (and adjacent roads)
• Stidcot Lane Tytherington
• Perrinpitt Lane
• Old Gloucester Rd Winterbourne
Please avoid these areas.

We have attended a number of fires in the open this morning, please remember that although we experienced a few rain showers yesterday, conditions are still very dry and even small fires can get out of hand quickly.

Lanes 1 and 2 (of 3) are closed on the #M5 northbound between J15 #Almondsbury and J14 #Thornbury due to a collision. There is currently 3 miles of congestion on approach causing about 30 min delays above normal travel time.
