"It's not just football, and that is 100 times more important than what happened on the park."

COMMUNITY FOOTBALL AT ITS BEST
We’re now welcoming around 70 children at each session, including around 10 girls, which is brilliant to see. @FunFootballUK @ScotFAWest
These numbers show just us how important community football is and the impact a football club can have within its local area. It gives children a place to come along, be active, make friends, build confidence and, most importantly, enjoy playing football.

Yesterday, we attended Glasgow 2026: Beyond the Games – an inspiring event that brought together young people to explore opportunities in coaching, volunteering and leadership across sport.
We hosted a marketplace stand, sharing the opportunities available within football

I am so sad about the passing of Jim Fleeting and have found it difficult to post.
This photo is from 2001 when he took a bunch of us to Shetland so that every kid on the island got to have some fun - that was his style.
Thinking of his family just now at this difficult time
