TENNESSEE: Guy wrenching. Did some really nice things. Thought QB looked calm, composed. Made some really nice throws. Took freebies. Good job leaving pocket when required. Not many misses. Had a drop or 2. 4 was great, loved the direct snap. 18 ran hard, so good pressing blocks in all the schemes. Made defenders wrong. The strain from the OL was better in zone scheme. Center good climbing to LBs early. Didn't get off combos as well late. 82 & 7 both a nice help in run game. I liked plan on off, quick game was effective, calculated shots. Multiple with formations. Flags were killer. Pass rush was fine to the QB, couldn't get him to the ground. Trigger blitzes were there. 19 held up inside. Early scramble drill throws hurt. 3 down got pushed a bit, zone scheme had some success. Wasn't a lighter box but edges couldn't impact as much there. Good vs gap scheme. 9 had good pass rush reps. Edges got caught down inside too often. 0 played fast. Gave up some in flat. 22 made plays, PD/TFL. Gave up some YAC later. 1 was active. The calls were brutal. Still had chances.

I’m tracking. I see his points. Fair. I’m also tracking the Polymarket sponsor.
Tennessee fans, I believe that we have a good enough relationship to have an honest conversation.

“I think we all know how different this game would have looked.” Three of George MacIntyre’s touchdown passes were called back due to penalties tonight. MacIntyre called it one of the most frustrating games he’s ever played in. #Vols

That guilty conscious weighs heavy.
Shane Beamer went off on 2022 Tennessee conspiracy theories after beating the Vols: "It's disrespectful to our players & coaches that scored 63 points against them that night. "I don't know what conspiracy theories they will come up with this year. "Maybe light from the State Fair."

This should have been a handoff to the fullback. Gordon was a decoy. If it’s handed off—Vols get the 1st and 10.

Heupel has his flaws—but he didn’t get the touchdowns called back and he didn’t fumble at the end of the game. It’s frustrating we lose on the road (yet again) with so much in front of us to play for and set ourselves back. He’s the head coach, but some isn’t his to control.

Tennessee had 3 touchdowns called back today. College football doesn’t make money if Tennessee is 7-0 and a surefire playoff team. More late-season drama means higher ratings and entertainment. You guys will soon see I’m right. It’s all rigged. Please open your eyes.

I’m not remiss on the undisciplined nature of our football team. Heupel’s teams have always been too undisciplined. And, I don’t know how you come out of a timeout on 4th and 1 and have a busted play. George is still a young QB, but I generally like what he’s shown.

Add yet another David Smith-called game to the list. Vegas line was -2.5 SCAR and final score was 24-27 after Mr. Smith’s crew called back three Tennessee touchdowns and threw a flag bringing back a 17-yard first down run on Tennessee’s last drive. .@SEC — A little weird, huh?
