ALT A poster advertising Tackling Tate: Combating misogyny in school’ the EYFS/Primary session Wed 22nd March The D.I.I.verse Hub brings this introduction to anti-misogyny training in schools. A proactive measure aimed at tackling the rise of misogyny and promoting gender equality. The training involves educating staff about the negative impact of misogynistic attitudes and behaviours on children and society as a whole. The session covers a range of topics, including the different forms it can take, and how it can manifest in everyday life. It also includes discussions on the importance of respecting women and promoting gender equality, and how this can be achieved through positive attitudes, behaviours, and language. In light of the rise of Andrew Tate, a former professional kickboxer and self-proclaimed misogynist, the training places particular emphasis on challenging harmful attitudes and beliefs towards women.
