This was firing a guy in charge of the worst offenses in program history over the last two years.
I wish Ben the best of luck, I know he will land on his feet somewhere. It was a lot to ask for him to come in and fix the issues that were here before him and I don’t think it’s all on him. If you’re going fire him you need to clean house on that side of the ball when the season is over, no stone left unturned.

And the baseball team won a national championship. Anyone trying to gaslight our fanbase into believing OU was better off in the big 12 is disconnected from reality.
The norm for OU and everyone else in the conference will be 9-3 being a good year depending on the schedule. The days of winning 11-12 games a year in the regular season are over for everyone. Most of our fans haven’t adjusted to this reality.
There’s literally no dominant teams this year and it’s never been so open but we wasted another season with a poor offensive play.

There might be a bunch of transfers on both sides of the ball if the admin doesn’t make drastic changes to the offensive staff. Seems obvious but now that the season is officially done you would think it would happen tomorrow.
Losing to another 4-3 team this badly would surely set something in motion.
