Cofiwch Aberfan /Remember Aberfan 60 years ago today at 9:15am on 21 October 1966, one of the darkest days in Wales’ history began in the village of Aberfan. A colliery spoil tip collapsed, burying Pantglas Junior School and nearby homes and killing 116 children and 28 adults.
