The Children, Education and Home Affairs Scrutiny Panel questioned the Minister for Children and Families, Connétable Richard Vibert, in a Quarterly Public Hearing.
During the Hearing:
• A commitment was made to find long-term funding for the Move More toddler play sessions. Funding has been secured for 2025 via the Chief Minister.
• It was confirmed the Assistant Minister will lead on the Government's Play Strategy. The Panel was pleased hear there would be more dedicated political oversight of it.
• The Minister also confirmed he was happy to look at moving the Springfield playground away from the road. Money has been allocated to refurbish the playground.
• The Panel heard that the Safeguarding Partnership Board is due to complete more work on online safety for children and that more resources will be allocated to CAMHS.
• The Panel was told that funding had been allocated to refurbish Le Squez Youth Centre but that, in the Budget proposals put forward by Government, no redevelopment would happen until 2028.

This is the face of a woman forced into fighting a male by #olympicgames rules that harm women. Shame on the International Olympic Federation @iocmedia The darkest day for women’s sport. IOC sanctioned male violence against women. Angela Carini has been cheated out of her Olympic Dreams.

This is a biological male fighting a female & absolutely everyone can see it, they have also failed gender screening, twice & have XY chromosomes. There is no ambiguity that the IOC do not care if a female gets seriously hurt. Or worse. I’m astonished at the weakness of the media
