Happy 25th Birthday to the gorgeous, extremely talented award-winning singer, rapper, songwriter, musician, dancer, top model and P-pop Superstar Colet! 👏🎂🥳🎉🌟👑💛 #Colet found fame as one of the main vocalists, lead rappers and lead dancers of the hugely popular, top-selling Filipino Girl Group BINI! Colet is widely regarded as the group’s “Nation’s Ace” and vocal crown jewel, an exceptional soprano and rapper whose voice anchors many of BINI's biggest songs. She has co-written or arranged key tracks including “Karera,” “Cherry on Top,” “Kinikilig,” and “8,” and delivered a standout Cebuano rap on the Coke Studio collaboration “Bata, Kaya Mo!” Beyond group milestones which include KCON, BINI's historic Debut at Coachella as the first Filipino act ever, the sold-out Philippine Arena and Araneta runs, and winning the MTV EMA for Best Asia Act, she has also reached some personal highlights including an incredible drum-playing solo cover of Madonna’s “4 Minutes,” a main-stage Cebuano performance of “Puhon” at TJ Monterde’s Araneta concert, JuanCast’s Powerful Vocal Female and Golden Voice awards, and recognition as an OPM tastemaker who helped push artists like Eliza Maturan onto the charts. Colet has won several individual honors, mainly for her voice. Tagbilaran City honored her with a plaque of recognition in July 2024 for inspiring Boholanos through music. In 2025 she won JuanCast’s EveryJuan’s P-pop Powerful Vocal Female and a Galleria billboard, then in 2026 took JuanCast’s Golden Voice Award for exceptional technique. The same year she was nominated at the 10th P-pop Music Awards for Favorite Vocalist of the Year and Complete Package All-Rounder. She also received a special Arts, Media and Entertainment citation at her 2024 senior-high graduation. Colet as part of BINI, has attracted numerous major endorsements including Jollibee, Shopee, Samsung Galaxy, Globe, Pond’s/Rexona, Coke, Nescafe, Modess, Keds, Penshoppe, IAM Worldwide’s Choco Barley, and the group’s own BINI Cosmetics line. This year she became an ambassador for the Philippine Department of Tourism. Fashion-wise she is the group’s edgier, more boyish member and has starred on the cover of Vogue Philippines for Louis Vuitton and has also graced the cover of Metro, worn custom rhinestone “Crazy in Love” stagewear, and stunned in Coachella’s gold warrior looks. Colet’s philanthropy is closely tied to her Bohol roots and her fans’ “pay-it-forward” culture. She has joined Aiah’s Aiahdvocacy nursing-home and disaster visits, hosted Jollibee parties for children with disabilities through the fan-led Project COLipay, sent goods to kids in Bohol via Project Puhon, and supported ColAiah Cares school-supply drives. With Aiah she personally distributed relief in Cebu after Typhoon Tino/Kalmaegi, and her official fan club’s Project COLigayahan has delivered hundreds of relief bags after storms such as Uwan. She and the Coca Colets have also contributed to group efforts like BINI’s million-peso Sagip Kapamilya donations from concert and merch proceeds. Colet is no longer just BINI’s main vocal and “Nation’s Ace”, she is the member whose voice and Visayan identity travel farthest. Critics call her the group’s technical crown jewel and fans treat her as a Popstar who can push an indie song onto the charts with one post. Colet writes and raps in Cebuano, plays drums on her Madonna cover and still shows up in Cebu and Cagayan with relief packs. In 2026 she is the rare idol who feels both nationally iconic and personally rooted, turning 25 today as one of P-pop’s most shining stars!
