Forget Dubai. Could this be the better expat destination? After eight years away, Batumi looks almost unrecognizable. A booming Black Sea city, European architecture, affordable property, low cost of living, good banking, and a growing expat population — all without the extreme prices associated with some of the world's better-known expat hubs. So when you put Batumi, Dubai, and Bali side by side, which one offers the best lifestyle? #Batumi #Georgia #Dubai #Bali #Expat #ExpatLife #RealEstate #Investing

Batumi added 17,000 apartments in a single year. What was once a Soviet-era city has transformed into a modern coastal metropolis filled with luxury towers, foreign investors, and thousands of new apartments. But for property investors, more development doesn't always mean more opportunity. With thousands of nearly identical apartments competing in the same market, one distressed sale can potentially push down prices across an entire building. So what happens when you combine low taxes, relatively cheap company formation, foreign capital, and residency incentives? We take a closer look at Batumi's extraordinary transformation — and what it means for anyone thinking about investing here. #Georgia #Batumi #RealEstate #PropertyInvestment #Investing #ExpatLife #Tbilisi #GeorgiaRealEstate

What if you could have bought an apartment in a rapidly growing European city for just $50,000? Eight years ago, Batumi was already being predicted as a potential hotspot. Since then, the city has doubled in size, property prices have risen significantly, and some early investors have seen strong rental returns. Now, we're back in Batumi to see what has actually changed — and whether Georgia is still an affordable destination for expats, entrepreneurs, and property investors. From its Black Sea coastline and modern apartments to its low cost of living, growing expat community, food, wine, and skiing, Batumi is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. But the big question is: has the opportunity already passed, or is Batumi still just getting started? #Georgia #Batumi #Tbilisi #RealEstate #PropertyInvestment #ExpatLife #Investing #Travel

What if one of Europe’s most overlooked countries is quietly becoming one of its biggest opportunities? Georgia is booming — with 9.7% GDP growth, rapidly expanding cities, a growing expat population, low-tax business structures, affordable living, and a tourism industry that continues to surge. From the streets of Tbilisi to the rapidly expanding coastal city of Batumi, the transformation is hard to miss. So is Georgia becoming one of the best places for expats, investors, and entrepreneurs looking for an alternative to the West? We take a closer look at what’s driving the boom — and whether the opportunity is still there. #Georgia #Tbilisi #Batumi #ExpatLife #Investing #RealEstate #Travel #Europe

A Federal Court ruling has put Kinnara Capital CEO Adrian Campbell’s sworn evidence — and his criminal history — under renewed scrutiny. In Campbell v McIntyre (No 2) [2026] FCA 1279, Justice Derrington discharged interim injunctions obtained by Campbell after finding “exceptionally serious” non-disclosures in his evidence. According to the judgment, Campbell initially swore that he had never been convicted of a criminal offence in Australia. A later affidavit acknowledged previous convictions, including 2018 guilty pleas to 11 charges involving false and misleading representations through Eco Boss Pty Ltd. The court also recorded earlier fraud and consumer-law convictions and ordered Campbell to pay 80% of the legal costs on an indemnity basis. Jamie McIntyre said the ruling was significant because it brought further attention to Campbell’s criminal history and repeated his concerns regarding Marina Bay Lombok investors.
