One hundred years ago, Americans saw one of the earliest and clearest examples of government overreach.
Prohibition remains one of the most idiotic laws ever written into our Constitution. It didnāt stop drinking. It didnāt make the country safer. All it did was empower criminals and punish ordinary people.
And here we are a century later, watching the same pattern repeat itself. Different era, same mindset. Both parties keep adding more government, more rules, and more control over your everyday life. They tell you itās for your own good, just like they did in the 1920s.
The truth is simple: when government grows, freedom shrinks. History already showed us what happens when leaders think they know better than the people.
Weāre seeing that same mentality today. It's just dressed in modern language and new policies.
I love that the majority of men in the comments said yes.
It confirms something simple and often overlooked, many men still desire a traditional life, one built on mutual roles, not competing careers.
As a stay at home wife, Iāve found real contentment in this.
We donāt have luxury, and thatās fine.
We have a roof over our heads, a car in the driveway, and food on the table.
My husband is at peace.
From the beginning, we agreed, I would keep the home, and he would provide.
That agreement has been enough.
What we see around us isnāt a failure of men or marriage.
Itās the result of a culture that treats traditional roles as something to be escaped rather than chosen.
My accountās been throttled lately, election season has a way of quieting people who donāt fall in line with the system.
Havenāt been on much the last few days, but wanted to swing by and say hey.
Hope yāall are doing well and staying blessed.

It's neither American nor patriotic to vote for a team color.
Instead, vote for principles and a person who's actually willing to represent us.
Republicans and Democrats do neither. They want the power and the money.
People shouldn't go into politics to get rich; they should go in to make a difference for their state/nation, and to represent... WE THE PEOPLE.

TEXAS INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE FOR GOVERNOR JENN MACK CALLS FOR THREE DAYS OF PRAYER AND FASTING OVER TEXAS
Jenn Mack urges Texans to set aside differences and seek the Lord together, and pray for our land, our resources, and our people, as well as current leaders and candidates.
SPRING, TX ā Jenn Mack, independent candidate for Governor of Texas, is calling on all Texans to join in three days of prayer and fasting, October 21-23, with prayer at 6:00 a.m. each morning.
āTexans disagree about plenty, but thereās an intense battle for Texas; and for three mornings, Iām asking us to lay those differences down, humble ourselves, and call on the name of the Lord together, for our families, our state, and our future,ā said Mack.
Calling for prayer is an old American tradition. In 1775, the Continental Congress proclaimed a day of public fasting and prayer. The Declaration of Independence itself appeals to the Creator and to āthe protection of divine Providence.ā
The First Amendment protects every Americanās right to worship freely, or not at all. This call is an invitation to call upon the same Creator.
āOur freedoms come from God, not government. This is a free people choosing to humble ourselves, and Iād like to see all of Texas do it side by side,ā Mack said.
How to join
- Pray at 6:00 a.m. each morning, October 21, 22 and 23, at home, in church, or with neighbors
- Fast in whatever way your health and conscience allow
- Share the call with your family, congregation and community

Feminists are angry.
Angry with themselves.
Angry with men.
Angry with other women.
Angry with the grass for being green, too green, not green enough, never the shade they demand.
Then they get angry at anyone who speaks plain truth, because truth collides with the fiction theyāve built and labeled āreality.ā
Ladies, relax.
The world was not arranged to soothe your discontent.
Go read a book.
Go cook some dinner.
Just relax.

Beware of this fraud account.
I commented on her post yesterday that she voted for @jamestalarico and I stated that the 19th Amendment needed to be repealed for this reason.
She said, āEmbarrassing, Ashley.ā
She doesnāt even live in Texas.
Her photo is AI.
She stated she is anti feminist, but when I said repeal the 19th she called it āembarrassing.ā
Girl, just give up your platform.
Go do dishes or something and stop using your AI photos to bait Texans and others.
Another pathetic human being that only lies for the impressions here on X. It doesn't surprise me anymore with this app.
She lives in Utah. She's never lived in Texas. She admitted she didn't vote. She used AI to paste an "I Voted" sticker on her picture, claimed she voted for James Talarico "here in Texas," and racked up over half a million views baiting Texans.
Then she bragged that it was "worth it."
Lying about voting in someone else's state election for clout isn't a joke. Community Notes is already on her, and her own posts confirm every word.
God help those who have to associate with this deceiving Jezebel.
Excuse me, @RandallJThibod2, why did you block my husband?
Unable to debate a man?
It comes across as rather cowardly.
You unfollowed me, yet deliberately kept me unblocked so you could continue engaging with my posts without having to answer to Derek.
Would you care to specify where, exactly, you believe we are liberals?
Or is the label simply the result of being unable to think independently and defaulting to name calling instead?
Be a man, Randy.
I would rather see a substantive debate between Derek and you than have you tag @SoveyX (nothing against you, Sovey).
This is a manās fight, let the men handle it.
Come on, Randy, put your big boy panties on.

What happened to men in this country?
This person right here, @RandallJThibod2, is perfectly fine commenting on a Texas post my wife made, but he can't talk about it with another man.
Instead, he tags a woman (no offense to Sovey) rather than answering me the way he answered my wife. Then he admits he doesn't even live in Texas. So why was he in my wife's mentions telling Texans how to vote?
That's not a man. That's a coward.
Better yet... now we're "liberals," because he can't hold a conversation. When you run out of arguments, you reach for a label.
Voting your conscience instead of following a party isn't liberal. It's what free Americans are supposed to do.
šš
But it's true!
Why are y'all so loyal to colors and not principles? Wake the heck up.
I'm convinced people who say "Vote Red" or "Vote Blue" are the political version of McDonald's workers who just push whatever's on the menu pictures.
No thought. No questions. "Would you like a side of more government with that?"
Same combo meal every election, just a different color wrapper. And every time, Americans pay more and get less.
I don't order off the picture menu. I vote for the person, not the party.
Was Texas built by Republicans and Democrats or by settlers?
Was it built by the establishment, or by the breath of men and women who believed in this land?
It's time to take back our land from the shade of elites.
šŗšø
I did my American duty today.Ā
ĀMy vote goes to the ones I believe who best represents me. People need to stop looking at the party label, and instead vote for the person.Ā
Ā
ĀI was proud to vote for Jenn Mack for Texas Governor today. š«”

The reason our nation and our states are failing is because most people still think like the establishment.
You keep voting for elites.
Instead of electing everyday men and women who actually intend to restore this country and return it to God.
But youād rather fight over two dead parties.
Both are six feet under.
The only thing left is the performance.
