Does data always capture what you think it captures? I've had migraine with aura. Not often. Banal. Never mentioned it to a dr: so I wouldn't appear in this dataset. Do Danes use dr's differently? (Generalisability). Do sicker ppl mention minor issues to dr's more? (Confounding). teapaw.org/bmj_company/status/958…

In recent weeks many people, mainly men, have spoken about the personal journeys they have been on. We should remember the saddest & loneliest journey is made by Irish women who travel to other countries in their 1000s to end their pregnancies. These journeys don’t have to happen

The Brextremists will pretend this is because she is useless and uncharismatic (which she is) and use to continue manoeuvring against her. It is entirely down to their wretched Brexit teapaw.org/IanDunt/status/9566586…

Unless there is a change of heart among our British friends, #Brexit will become a reality – with all its negative consequences - March next year. We, here on the continent, haven’t had a change of heart. Our hearts are still open for you.

After years living in the U.S. for 30 years, a 39-year-old immigrant in metro Detroit was deported this morning to Mexico. Escorted by ICE agents, he said bye to wife and 2 kids before boarding. He was brought to US from Mexico when he was 10-yrs-old, too old to qualify for DACA:

Business uncertainty has been created b/c of the UK Gov's decision to leave the single market, not because of EU contingency planning. PM Theresa May & David Davis say no deal is better than a bad deal, so it is only fair that we plan for this bit.ly/2maBqxs #Brexit

Yesterday @Jeremy_Hunt was refusing interviews while the NHS was cancelling all non-urgent operations. At the same time, Transport Secretary Chris Grayling was hiding out in Qatar while Europe's most expensive train tickets got more expensive. We are governed by cowards.

Gotta big up the Brits tho, any other country on earth having an ongoing identity crisis clusterfuck would have turned dull as fuck after a few weeks, but 18 months into this Brexit thing and it's STILL comedy gold. – at Dublin City, Ireland
