How can you investigate a belief that a child is remembering a past life?
Marieta Pehlivanova Ph.D., describes it almost like a forensic investigation into two people: the child reporting the memories, and the deceased person they may be remembering.
At UVA's Division of Perceptual Studies, researchers examine both lives, looking for connections, corroborating details, and possible explanations for what the child knows.
In this clip, Marieta Pehlivanova explains how cases come to light and how researchers know they can begin to investigate.
🎧 Episode 3 of Reincarnation Records, Can Reincarnation Be Investigated? is out now.
As #ghosts is trending maybe you're curious about such phenomena on such a blustery evening. Our friends at the @SPR1882 @GhostClub1862 @TheSEPIAgency and indeed ourselves at ASSAP would happily talk about strange bumps in the night, at this time of year.
Tonight, sharing the studies, qualitative and quantitative research of 2,185 accounts gathered by Phd researcher Emily Turnbull @UniNorthants near death experiences
Emily Turnbull shall be joining us for ASSAP Webinars Live this evening at 7pm. Exploring what the Dying See. End-of-life experiences and near-death experiences. Examining qualitative details from a survey of 2000 adults.

THIS IS THE CLEAREST PHOTO OF ONE OF THE NEW JERSY DRONES.
Close up picture of "drone" from professional photographer on Facebook.
Credit to Jessica Canzone (Jessie James Photog) on Facebook
Location: "west Brookfield Park, Staten Island"
Date: Saturday, December 14th
Time: 8:47 PM
Number of witnesses: Unknown, at least 1 witness
Description of sighting: (From Facebook) I have been trying to get a photo of these things the last few nights.
The longest lens I have is 200mm and by me they’re just really high, so the best I could get. This was flying low, not going higher in elevation (just gliding) and in a better lit area over a park so I was able to take somewhat of a better photo.
It’s a bit blurry bc I did have to run some noise software to remove some of the artifacts. No windows and no tail. I know some will still think this is a plane. And maybe you are right since I am no plane expert. *edited to add video bc the photos are even blurrier uploaded here.
TAKE A LOOK Y’ALL
Sentient plasma, Poltergeist and Proto-UFOs, @AnthonyMBeckett will be joining us to discuss his interdisciplinary study of the phenomenology and ontology of UAP contact - might we be looking at the same phenomena at play? Oct 15th
Venkman by Bill Murray delivery and tone sounds similar to the Real Ghostbusters Venkman by Dave Collier. I like it! Its like a bonus chapter
