Two Storm Shadow strikes on Russian military-industrial plants just two days apart. Such strikes have been relatively rare, and now we see two Storm Shadow strikes just two days apart: Oryol’s Proton-Electrotex electronics plant on October 23, and Yelets’ Energiya missile-battery plant on October 25. Hopefully, this is the start of a more sustained campaign.

💥🚀 New footage released by local residents shows strike by eight Ukrainian Storm Shadow cruise missiles during the October 25 attack on Russia’s Energia plant in Yelets. Missiles slam into the same spot one after another, with no visible air defense response. Witnesses claim eight missiles struck the facility. Energia produces batteries for Russian missiles, aircraft, and other military equipment. Combined with the October 23 Storm Shadow strike on Proton in Oryol, the scale of these attacks suggests Ukraine may have received a substantial new shipment of the missiles.

New footage from the Ukrainian Storm Shadow strike on the Proton-Electrotex plant in Oryol, Russia. The video shows the missiles flying in and striking the facility, followed by footage of the aftermath. Proton-Electrotex is a Russian defense electronics manufacturer that produces optoelectronic and semiconductor components used in weapons systems including cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and Pantsir air defense systems.

The two pilots killed in the October 22 crash of a Russian Su-30SM have been identified as members of the Russian Knights aerobatic team: Colonel Oleg Yerofeyev and Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Kochetov. Both were highly experienced pilots, with 3,300 and 1,500 flight hours respectively. Interestingly, the location and circumstances of the crash remain undisclosed.
