In Brazil, Globo's most-watched TV news program, @showdavida (you could call it Brazil's "60 Minutes") reports that an Israeli citizen and "ex-Mossad agent" often seen at the side of high Israeli officials, including Netanyahu -- Menachem Booky Halevy -- played a vital role in Flavio Bolsonaro's exit from Brazil, accompanying him in the van he used to get to Argentina. Bolsonaro earlier today said the show had agreed to an interview with him to be broadcast without edits, but canceled the agreement, and claims much in the report is false. He will give interviews this week in the US to various journalists.
O ‘Fantastico’ registrou imagens de Menachem Booky Halevy, o ex-agente do Mossad que teria auxiliado Flavio Bolsonaro a sair do Brasil. Ele prestou esclarecimentos à PF.

THE PERFECT EAST-WEST PARTY The whole of Hong Kong’s Central district was one big Halloween party last night. It was great to see the range of costumes, from both west and east. As well as the usual witches and so on, there were many in classic Chinese gear—and I even saw the monk from Journey to the West. I was a vampire – nice to have hair again, even if it was plastic. I think the most popular photo opportunity in the city were a pair of friends in my group who dressed inflatable suits – one who wanted to celebrate China’s national animal, the Panda – and one who dressed as a man kidnapped by an alien. The Panda had trouble getting through doorways—but everywhere he went he was popular with the children. Tutankahmun was also popular as a photo opportunity. There was a shark in the financial district – no change there – and the symbiote version of spider-man. It was a perfect example of east and west meeting to discover that both sides like dressing up and having a party. Party on, brothers and sisters

Hong Kong police are now urging French police to calm down and show restraint towards the peaceful freedom fighters. Any violence directed by French police at these peaceful protestors will be considered as unacceptable human right breaches.
Paris has gone to another level. Throwing Molotov cocktails at police is attempted murder. This is not a protest anymore, they just want to kill and do something big. Did you see the cop on fire?

Merz celebrated Israel in June 2025 for "doing the dirty work for all of us" by attacking Iran Now, with a 10% approval rating, he whines about being done dirty
Germany's Chancellor Merz on Iran War: We now have costs exceeding €100 billion for Europe alone over the last eight months, solely because of the increase in energy prices caused by this conflict. More than €100 billion extra has been paid by businesses and consumers in Europe because energy has become more expensive as a result of this conflict. We have an economic interest in bringing this conflict to an end as quickly as possible.

Fun anecdote about this meeting: during his 1960 trip to China, Che Guevara made the request to Zhou Enlai to meet Mao in French (confirmed by CCTV archives: xinwen.bjd.com.cn/content/s6…). They were both fluent French speakers: Che because his mother taught him as a kid (nybooks.com/articles/1971/01…) and Zhou because, like Deng Xiaoping, he discovered communism as a young worker-student living in 1920s France (chinadaily.com.cn/a/202107/0…). Back when French was the language of revolutionaries 😊

TLDR; The CIA poured cash into a plot for a secret army from Taiwan to invade southern China from Burma — and accidentally financed the birth of the Golden Triangle, a heroin empire which killed huge numbers of people . Chapter 1: THE CHOICE US PRESIDENT HARRY TRUMAN had a gut feeling that he should stay out of Taiwan. “The United States Government will not pursue a course which will lead to involvement in the civil conflict in China,” he wrote on 5 January, 1950. But the C.I.A. felt differently: their modus operandi was to choose one side and covertly arm it. - People on the mainland, as socialists, were more organized, more serious, and surprisingly good at spycraft. But they were commies! - The nationalists on Taiwan island had a reputation for being tricky and unpredictable. But they were capitalists. CIA leaders made their fateful choice. . Chapter 2: THE SECRET ARMY THE CIA LEARNED that the Taiwan-based nationalists had assembled a secret army in Burma to “recover” China from the communists. Led by General Li Mi of the Kuomintang, or KMT, the attack force communicated with Taipei through a confidential radio office in Bangkok. The CIA used its own planes to add more soldiers from Taiwan, plus weapons from an arsenal on Okinawa—and plenty of cash. The operation was coordinated by CIA men Alfred Cox in Hong Kong and Sherman Joost in Bangkok. In May 1951, Li Mi’s secret army invaded China from the south, accompanied by CIA officers. . Chapter 3: SPYCRAFT IT WAS A DISASTER. The Chinese seemed to be waiting for them in Yunnan province—and picked them off wherever they turned. In less than a month, the effort was in full retreat. A second incursion, in July, went even more badly, with the Chinese chasing them out in a week. What the KMT didn’t know until much later was that the Chinese had quietly replaced the nationalist radio man in Bangkok with one of their own operatives — they were good at spycraft, as mentioned. . Chapter 4: EMBARRASSMENT AT CHRISTMAS IN 1951, Beijing complained in public that the United States had ferried Nationalist soldiers and weapons to Burma to create conflict. The controversy was raised at the United Nations. US diplomats lied, saying on the record that the US had no involvement whatsoever. But Washington was embarrassed when an 11 February 1952 New York Times report quoted witnesses in Burma who had seen Li Mi’s soldiers proudly showing off their brand-new American weapons. That summer, Li Mi led yet another invasion of China. On 2 August, some 2,100 Nationalists got less than 100 km into the country before being driven out. But despite the supply of arms and cash, and even US training, the latest operation was not progressing. As time passed, it became clear to the CIA that the secret army was busy with something else. . Chapter 5: THE TWIST During their years’ hiding in mountains of northern Burma, the KMT’s secret force had made two discoveries. One was that an extremely valuable crop, opium, was grown in those mountains, and the other was that they liked southeast Asian women. Their capitalist urges trumped their political ones. They married the women and became wealthy opium plantation owners and drug distributors. By 1953, Washington’s official line was to ask Chiang Kai-shek in Taipei to remove the men from Burma. That year, 7,000 troops were airlifted to Taiwan—but at least that number insisted on staying, and thousands more decided to remain in neighboring Thailand. The CIA saw the “Golden Triangle” drug trade as a positive, potentially making their covert armies self-financing. “The U.S. use of the drug traffic from the KMT troops in Burma had momentous consequences for the whole of Southeast Asia,” said historian Peter Dale Scott in the Asia Pacific Journal. . Chapter 6: RICH AND ARMED BY THE EARLY 1960s, the Burmese were desperate to get the KMT out, and the CIA was intrigued to discover that the PLA, China’s army, had agreed to help. But even they couldn’t eradicate the rebels, who were rich, strong, and well-armed, and now controlled 90 percent of Burmese opium—and “almost a third of the world’s opium supply”, according to CIA Far East operative Richard Stilwell. In 1961, the leaders in Taipei cut off all payments to their people in Burma. But the KMT secret army responded that this just made the drug trade more crucial: they had to expand it to cover their soldiers’ salaries. . Chapter 7: A WIN AND A LOSS IN TRUTH, the secret army had lost all interest in invading China. And they found themselves under fire in their new profession. In 1967, the drug operation had spread into Laos and Vietnam, and the KMT were soon fighting a war against rival warlords. The Taiwanese eventually defeated their main opponent Khun Sa, a Burmese, but during the fighting, a Lao general confiscated a large amount of opium and supplied it to multiple users across East Asia. . Chapter 8: PEACE The 1967 opium war ended the Burma KMT’s 15-year control of the region’s main heroin distribution routes, although their business continued. The CIA had spent a fortune over many years supporting the plan to “recover China” and had nothing to show for it. In 1969, Henry Kissinger defunded many of the CIA operations in and around China. In 1971, he flew secretly to Beijing to make peace. . EPILOGUE And what happened to the secret army that Taiwan and the US had secretly funded for years? “The Nationalists maintained forces in Burma no longer under CIA control. These later grew to as many as twelve thousand and continued their drug trafficking right into the 1980s,” wrote historian John Prados. For the US, the experience “helped institutionalize what became a CIA habit of turning to drug-supported off-the-books assets for fighting wars wherever there appeared to be a threat to America’s access to oil and other resources,” wrote Peter Dale Scott. But as so often happened, the CIA’s lawless antics harmed all sides—including the US itself. The opium grabbed by the Lao general was turned into heroin and secretly sold in Vietnam in the 1960s and 1970s. Many of the buyers were American troops fighting in South Vietnamese jungles, young men desperately stressed out after being commissioned to win an unwinnable war. * Sources: American War Machine by Peter Dale Scott; The Search for Modern China by Jonathan D. Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. No conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is supposedly taking place. The only military option is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu has been pushing hard for one. “Bibi calls Trump about it every day,” says an informed observer. Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. After last week’s election results, he can’t form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties that gives Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations and possibly jail. Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war. To that end, he’s applied maximum pressure to his closest allies in the administration, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper. Both oppose a negotiated settlement to the war they’ve so grievously mismanaged; both are pushing to restart major combat operations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA director John Ratcliffe are also following Netanyahu’s lead, as are leaders of the Democratic Party. In a recent meeting on the subject, former president Barack Obama said he opposes the current Iran peace deal being drafted in Doha. The rest of America’s longtime allies in the Middle East are terrified by the prospect of more war. On September 27th, Netanyahu flew secretly to Abu Dhabi to enlist the UAE in his lobbying effort for a final attack on Iran. The Emiratis refused. After eight months of conflict, Gulf economies are teetering. So are global energy and fertilizer markets. They won’t recover soon. Globally, there are a total of about 850 supertankers used to transport oil from producers to the rest of the world. In October alone, 11 of them were badly damaged in Hormuz. At this pace, a global depression is imminent. A nuclear strike would radically accelerate the destruction. Fallout from a ground explosion at Pickax Mountain would contaminate the Persian Gulf, poisoning the water supply for 100 million people. And those are just some of the immediate consequences for the region. The rest of the world is every bit as exposed. No country other than the United States has ever used a nuclear weapon in war. Some would like to. An American nuclear attack on Iran would set a new precedent. The Russians have already told at least two other governments that an American nuclear strike on Iran would free them to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine. Pakistan and India would be tempted to do the same against each other, as would North Korea against Seoul. After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable. That war would be short and final. We’ve been sleepwalking toward this moment for months. Since February, the administration has quietly rewritten America’s nuclear doctrine to make first use of so-called “battlefield nukes” easier and therefore more likely. No one in Washington in either party seems bothered by this. Now we’re on the brink of it. Close observers say Trump is likely to decide by next weekend whether or not to use nuclear weapons. That would be November 7, six days from now. To his credit, he’s hesitating. At the moment, Trump is listening to his vice president, JD Vance, and to his envoy and friend Steve Witkoff, both of whom argue a deal with Iran can be made. They’re right, though it won’t be simple. The Iranians are famously frustrating to negotiate with under any circumstances, and elements of that government have become more radical since Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family were killed in February. After decades of isolation, even relatively moderate Iranian leaders seem confused by how decisions are made in the West. (There is a widespread belief in Tehran, for example, that the United States government controls Israel.) But overall, people who have spoken to decision-makers in Iran say there is consensus there that more war is bad for everyone and a deal is worth making. One group that hasn’t been consulted so far is the global population — the hundreds of millions of people who will be killed along with their children if Trump is pushed by Netanyahu into launching a nuclear strike next week. Now would be the time for them to speak up.

The legendary islands of immortality that China's First Emperor, Qin Shi Huang (秦始皇), desperately searched for 2,200 years ago have suddenly "reappeared" in the very waters where he once sought them! On October 28, something extraordinary happened off the coast of Penglai (蓬莱), in China's Shandong Province. Distant islands seemed to break free from the sea, floating mysteriously between the ocean and the sky. Mountain peaks appeared and disappeared in the haze, as if a mythical paradise had suddenly come to life. Not AI. Not CGI. It was a rare and breathtaking mirage. But the most astonishing part isn't what appeared. Qin Shi Huang, China's First Emperor, repeatedly traveled to the coast of Shandong in search of three legendary islands of immortality: Penglai (蓬莱), Fangzhang (方丈), and Yingzhou (瀛洲). He had almost everything a man could possibly possess in his time. But there was one thing that even absolute power could not buy: He couldn't order Death to stay away. So he came up with another idea: searching for a way to defeat death itself. Determined to obtain the legendary elixir of immortality, he spared no expense, mobilizing enormous resources and sending expeditions into the vast, unknown seas. The most famous of these voyages was led by a charlatan alchemist named Xu Fu (徐福). According to historical records, Xu Fu sailed away with thousands of young boys and girls, skilled craftsmen, and seeds of various crops. What happened to them afterward remains one of the enduring mysteries of ancient Chinese history. For centuries, a theory has persisted: Xu Fu and his fleet may have reached Japan. Even more intriguingly, modern ancient DNA research has revealed that, around the broad period in which Xu Fu lived, people from the coastal Chinese mainland were migrating into the Japanese archipelago, resulting in the demographic changes that shaped Yayoi-period populations. Of course, none of this proves that Xu Fu ever reached Japan. But isn't it fascinating that an expedition supposedly launched in pursuit of mythical islands of immortality should have become entangled with one of the great mysteries of Japan's ancient population history? But Qin Shi Huang's dream of immortality did not die with him. About a century later, another formidable emperor followed in his footsteps: Emperor Wu of Han (汉武帝). He, too, traveled repeatedly to the coast of Shandong, searching for the same legendary islands of immortality. Two emperors, each ruling one of the mightiest empires of his age, spent enormous fortunes and sent expeditions across the sea. Neither ever found the mythical paradise he sought. Apparently, one of history's greatest recurring problems is that every generation believes it can avoid the mistakes of the last. Fast forward more than 2,200 years. In these very waters, where emperors once dreamed of discovering immortality, a rare mirage has once again made distant islands appear to float mysteriously above the sea. Of course, we cannot know whether Qin Shi Huang ever witnessed such a spectacle himself. Nor can we prove that mirages gave rise to the ancient legends of Penglai and the islands of immortality, although I strongly suspect that sights like this were precisely what inspired those legends in the first place. But just imagine. You are standing on the coast of Shandong more than 2,200 years ago. Suddenly, mysterious mountains appear out of nowhere, hovering above the vast ocean. And then, moments later, they vanish without a trace. Would you really have believed that what you saw was nothing more than a trick of nature? Or would you have wondered whether, somewhere beyond the horizon, there truly existed a paradise beyond the reach of ordinary mortals? For one fleeting moment, the video enables us to glimpse the world as Qin Shi Huang might have imagined it more than 2,200 years ago.
More than 2,000 years ago, two of the most powerful men in the ancient world were searching for a place that did not exist. Qin Shi Huang (秦始皇), China's First Emperor, and Emperor Wu of Han (汉武帝) spent enormous fortunes, sent expeditions across the sea, and even traveled in person to the coast of Shandong. They were searching for three legendary islands where immortals were said to possess the secret of eternal life. Each commanded one of the mightiest empires of his age. Yet neither could find the legendary paradise they sought. But an unknown craftsman, whose name has been lost to history, succeeded where they had failed. He had no fleet, no army, and none of the wealth of an empire. All he had were his two hands. With them, he brought mountains, mythical beasts, hunters, and drifting clouds together inside a bronze incense burner just 26 centimeters tall. When smoke began to rise between its mountain peaks, something extraordinary happened. The legendary paradise came to life. In 1968, a mysterious tomb carved deep into a mountain tip, just over 100 kilometers from Beijing, was discovered. It belonged to Liu Sheng (刘胜), the elder brother of Emperor Wu of Han (汉武帝). In the rear chamber, where Liu Sheng lay buried in his elaborate jade burial suit, stone slabs enclosed a small room of about three square meters. And it was here that they discovered an extraordinary bronze incense burner. Standing just 26 centimeters tall, measuring 15.5 centimeters in diameter, it is one of the finest ancient incense burners ever found in China. Its entire surface is decorated with intricate gold inlay. At its base, three dragons rise dramatically from the water, supporting a series of towering, overlapping mountain peaks. Within these mountains is a miniature world. Mythical beasts roam among the peaks. Monkeys play in mountain streams. Tigers and leopards prowl through the wilderness, while hunters armed with crossbows stalk their prey. In a space just 26 centimeters tall, this ancient craftsman managed to create an astonishingly rich and vivid world. Hidden among the peaks were tiny openings. When incense burned inside, fragrant smoke escaped through these openings, slowly wrapping the mountains in swirling mist. Drawing on ancient texts dating back more than 2,000 years, scholars identify this type of incense burner as a Bo Mountain (Boshan/博山) incense burner. But what exactly does "Boshan" mean? No one knows for certain. Some believe that "Bo" refers to something vast or boundless. Others suggest that "Boshan" is a collective name for three legendary mountains of immortality: Penglai (蓬莱), Yingzhou (瀛洲), and Fangzhang (方丈). These three legendary mountains were already famous during the Warring States period, the age before Qin Shi Huang unified China. According to legend, they were home to immortals who possessed magical elixirs capable of granting eternal life, or even bringing the dead back to life. The kings of Yan (燕) in the north and Qi (齐) in the east had both sent expeditions out to sea in search of these mysterious islands. The true origins of these legends are difficult to trace. But I suspect they may have been inspired by the coastal waters around present-day Penglai, in Yantai (烟台), Shandong Province. Several islands lie offshore, and throughout history, mirages have occasionally appeared above the sea, creating the illusion of distant, mysterious lands floating on the horizon. To ancient observers, these elusive visions may have seemed like glimpses of the legendary mountains of immortality. Such sightings may have fueled the fascination of the kings of the Warring States. And even Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor of a unified China, was not immune to their allure. He traveled to the coast of Shandong several times and dispatched expeditions across the sea in search of immortals. According to historical records, a charlatan named Xu Fu (徐福) convinced Qin Shi Huang that he could reach the three sacred islands and bring back the elixir of immortality. But despite years of searching and enormous expenditures, he returned empty-handed. Desperate to escape the emperor's wrath, he came up with an extraordinary excuse. Giant sea creatures, he claimed, were blocking the way to the islands of immortality. And the sea gods demanded an offering of young boys, young girls, and skilled craftsmen in exchange for the elixir. To remove this supposed obstacle, Qin Shi Huang personally took part in a hunt for a giant fish at sea. To most people, such an absurd story would have been almost impossible to believe. Yet astonishingly, Qin Shi Huang, a brilliant, calculating, and deeply suspicious ruler, fell for Xu Fu's tale once again. In 210 BC, months before his death, the First Emperor sponsored Xu Fu on another voyage, accompanied by thousands of young men and women. They carried seeds of various grains and were joined by craftsmen skilled in different trades. Where Xu Fu and his fleet eventually went remains one of the enduring mysteries of ancient Chinese history. Many believe that his ships reached Japan, where the voyagers settled and established new communities. Some have even speculated that Xu Fu was none other than Emperor Jimmu (神武天皇), the legendary first emperor of Japan. There is no reliable historical evidence to support this claim, though. Interestingly, however, ancient DNA research indeed revealed that around the broad period in which Xu Fu lived, Japan was undergoing significant demographic changes. Migrants from the Chinese mainland were moving into the Japanese archipelago and mixing with the indigenous Jomon (绳纹) population, contributing to the emergence of present day Yayoi (弥生) societies. Back in China, however, the dream of immortality was far from dead. You might think the First Emperor's failure would have put an end to this obsession. But a century later, another powerful emperor followed in his footsteps. Emperor Wu of Han. He, too, traveled repeatedly to the coast of Shandong, visiting places associated with the First Emperor's search for immortals. The fate of Qin Shi Huang had taught him little. But both emperors remained helpless before the one enemy neither could conquer: death. This ordinary man simply made something beautiful. But his little bronze mountain is still with us. Guess who won.

My take on Mao vs leftist leaders in LatAm. Mao overcame EVERY SINGLE TRAP, BLOCKADE, SANCTION, WAR, etc… thrown at him. And kept China for the Chinese. He also laid out the path to today’s prosperity and might. No other leftist leader in LatAm has had the ABILITY to succeed.

Zasesti nacionalno RTV s policijo in zamenjati vodstvo (Poljska); 6. Prekiniti mandate vodstvu nacionalne RTV in izvesti čistko zaposlenih (Slovenija); 7. Poslati v zapor člane prejšnje vlade brez možnosti obrambe (Madžarska); 8. Podeliti skoraj milijon državljanstev ilegalnim migrantom po hitrem postopku (Španija); 9. Zapreti novo Nuklearno elektrarno in zgraditi plinovod do Rusije (Nemčija); 10.
