I once had a (quite petite) female Lt working for me. I've faced up to some real monsters on the rugby pitch but I would dread doing the same with her.....she was an international standard boxer.

West Country bikers of a certain vintage may remember Terry Hobbs (RIP) who ran a motorbike shop in Guzz. "Morning Bugsy, alright my luvver" every time I went in.

Being called love by a middle aged woman, I am in heaven. I am in Cornwall and my lover, my ansum (handsome) or my bird which is directed at men and women. Adore it every time.

Despite desensitisation Chhubohe still gets very anxious at the vets so he had some "happy drugs" for today's visit. So chilled out!

The problem with Spaniels is that they hate cold and wet conditions, never want to go for a walk, and absolutely detest mud and water.

It's a bit wet in the fields, ideal time to test my new lightweight boots #lowa.

Happy Birthday to the @RoyalNavy Weapon Engineering Branch. 80 years old today⚡️ I am proud to have been one (so far) for very close to half of it.

Wow, at 5'6" and 12 st I'm 2 lb inside the weight limit for 40+. Mind you, when I was in my 40s and playing rugby I was nearly 2 stone heavier - but always got Excellent on RNFT, and BFT on ACSC. BMI means nothing!

To quote Admiral Lord Nelson just before the Battle of Trafalgar in 1809, "don't believe everything you read on the internet".

A bit lightweight that sidecar. I've still got the bike, only wish I'd kept all of it.

"My Springer needs a long walk." It's Harry Redders; 20 mins #workthebrain for #highdrive working dog. Long retrieve, hunt in the scrub, dip in the pond (reward for doing something good - not all rewards are food), and tolerance of an out of control terrier. #dogwelfare.

Happy memories of a good weekend. I was in Alfriston (the last UK based open bridge MCMV) and it seemed like we were anchored closer to France than Pompey - by the time the PAS boat got to Vernon it was time to go back on board.
