How about a FPGA community? This could be interesting to share knowledge / learning and help each other. I just created one, link below! xitter.cf/i/communities/16700339…

OH MY GOD, THE BRITISH ARE AHEAD OF AMERICA IN PCB MANUFACTURING, WHAT IN THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD!!!!🤬 Guys, first off I just have to have to give it up to @ATaylorFPGA FPGA HORIZONS & the entire team. The FORGIX is absolutely STUNNING, super and I mean SUPER HIGH QUALITY! The Forgix is a $50 circuit board smaller than the size of a AAA battery that combines a standard microcontroller with an FPGA! You could drive a display, some instruments & even a fair amount of legacy peripherals! Even flight control and a lot more are possible with this beautiful little piece of HARDWARE!

Peak specs tell only part of the story. In robotics, performance means keeping AI, perception, planning, and control moving together in real time. See what the Open Navigation benchmark reveals about AMD Ryzen AI Embedded X100 Series: amd.com/en/blogs/2026/from-b…

How do you measure the frequency of a unknown clock in FPGA. This was a question recently asked on R/FPGA following a interview at a financial company. This week we are going to take a look at this, as it is not as simple as first sounds and there are several different approaches possible. adiuvoengineering.com/post/m…

AMD Vitis Hardware in the Loop (Vitis HIL) helps validate earlier, reduce costly lab iterations, and accelerate deployment. See how Adam Taylor (@ATaylorFPGA) applies Vitis HIL to test real-world heterogeneous designs with greater confidence: fpgahorizons.com/journal/iss…

If you follow me you will know I think UK engineering salaries are terrible, the results of the UK salary survey are in. They are still appalling for the skills engineers bring to companies, but they are increasing slow. We need to get these increased through, engineers build the modern world and society. issuu.com/fpga-horizons/docs…

Some fun results over night from the AMD AI Halo, running AMD Ross and local LLMs. A repair loop on a Verilog file, Ross provides the linting skills in Vivado. Blue Pearls AI then iterates and corrects the issues.

This was an amazing event!
Great to see the FPGA community come together at #FPGAHorizons London! AMD highlights included Kirk Saban’s keynote and our hands-on Agentic AI workshop, showcasing how the AMD Ross Agentic AI Assistant is changing adaptive SoC development. 🎬 Take a look at the highlights!

Thinking of a AR APP for my boards, who thinks this is an interesting idea ? Maybe I can add in the chronicles to it too!

I Like image processing, it features in a lot of my projects and often buy cameras which i can connect to FPGAs. One of which I bought years ago and never got around to integrating with a FPGA is the Arducam. I had a little time at the weekend so thought I would create a simple project which uses only FPGA logic to grab a frame and send it out over UART. hackster.io/adam-taylor/ardu…

You know if you know what your doing with engineering and can write good requirements / specifications. AI enables you with incredible acceleration, to visualise ideas. Like this one to animate boards to remove the need to search through user PDF guides.

FPGA Horizons is a very good event, cannot recommend it enough. I'll probably be there if my wife doesn't kill me.
It was cool, you can download the slides here fpgahorizons.com/london-26/ Next up FPGA Horizons US, April 27!

Software-only simulation can't keep pace with complex heterogeneous designs. AMD Vitis Hardware in the Loop runs your design on real Versal silicon, faster than AMD software simulation alone, using the MATLAB® or Python™ scripts you already have. Learn more: amd.com/en/products/software…

AMD on AMD, spent a little time getting the AMD AI Halo running Vivado and Vitis. With 32 cores and 128GB of LPDDR5 it is pretty quick for bit stream generation.

Always good to see what Forgix is being used for in the real world.

@ATaylorFPGA , ITS ALIVE! After 2 weeks. A fresh IMU and reading the pinout, I finally got all of the telemetry to populate. At first the baud rate WAS incorrect. But the larger problem was where I was placing the "T" from the TGAM onto the wrong place on the Teensy ( which i learned from RTFM ) Once I fixed both issues all of the information populated. So now that I have 2 nodes finished ( proto ) I can now write the intent algorithm for the coordinator and start mapping drone controls. Thank you @ATaylorFPGA and @i2cjak for help when I though I was ready to nose dive into concrete
