As we proudly hand over our 78th Container Library to Ezenzeleni Primary School in Carolina, Mpumalanga, we bring new opportunities for learning and growth to young minds. 

We are believers in the power of quality education and recognise that strong literacy and numeracy skills are the foundation upon which successful futures are built. By providing learners with this Container Library, filled with approximately 3 000 CAPS-aligned books in English and isiZulu, we are actively nurturing a love for reading, strengthening essential skills, and unlocking their full potential. 

Our mission remains the same, to invest in the foundations that enable children to thrive, in the classroom and beyond.

This World Teachers’ Day, we celebrate the teachers who turn education into opportunity. During National Literacy Month in September, we were proud to donate our 77th Container Library to Thongwana High School, marking the first AVBOB Container Library dedicated to a high school. The school serves more than 4,000 learners, including over 1,000 matric learners, and has achieved an almost 100% matric pass rate. Behind these results are teachers who continue to give their time, knowledge and support to help learners reach their potential. As we reflect on National Book Week and the importance of building a culture of reading, we are reminded that books and libraries are only part of the journey. It is the teachers who bring learning to life by encouraging curiosity, guiding learners through challenges and helping them see possibilities beyond the classroom. Today, we recognise the teachers who continue to go the extra mile for their learners and who play such an important role in shaping the next generation.
