Some dogs struggle quietly behind kennel doors. Kevin🐾🐾 is one of them. Kevin🐾🐾 is a 2–3 year old, 45-pound mixed breed boy with a soft tan-and-white coat and the most adorable speckled nose you’ve ever seen. He’s fully vetted, athletic, and absolutely overflowing with love — but the shelter environment has been especially hard on this sensitive soul. Inside the kennel, Kevin🐾🐾 feels overwhelmed. Outside of it? He’s a completely different dog. Once he’s out, Kevin🐾🐾 transforms into a sweet, affectionate, top-notch snuggler who leans in for pets and soaks up every ounce of kindness. He’s highly treat-motivated and eager to please. While he may hesitate at first on walks, pick up the pace and he’s right there with you — making him a great jogging or adventure buddy. Kevin🐾🐾 has done well on leash walks with multiple dogs and truly shines with canine companionship. On one walk with a tolerant female, he gained confidence, tried to initiate play, then did the most heart-melting thing — laid down, crawled over, and gently licked her face. Volunteers are still swooning. He’s also shown positive potential with cats, approaching them with curiosity rather than intensity — even seeming a bit unsure at first. Kevin🐾🐾 seeks connection. He seeks safety. And yes — if you walk near cars, he may try to hop in, clearly hoping to escape the chaos and head home. Honestly… who could blame him? ✨ Kevin’s🐾🐾 Ideal Home: • A patient, compassionate adopter • Someone who understands that kennel stress doesn’t define a dog • A home where he can decompress and finally exhale • Possibly another dog friend to boost his confidence • A couch for cuddling (non-negotiable) Kevin🐾🐾 isn’t broken — he’s just overwhelmed. (A498159)! 🫧 Waggles🐾🐾 is an active, playful, and curious pup who loves being right in the middle of the action. He's always eager to head out on walks or jogs, and he explores the world with enthusiasm and greets new people with a happy wag. Volunteers describe him as easy to handle, and when treats come out, Waggles🐾🐾 is quick to offer a “sit” all on his own. This clever boy definitely knows how to work his charm! In foster care, Waggles🐾🐾 has shown his joyful and friendly side, especially while running and playing with young children. He’s also a big-time cuddler at heart. His foster shared that he loves snuggling up with his people and would happily sleep in bed with them. After a day of activity, Waggles🐾🐾 is content to relax with a favorite toy or curl up close for some affection. He is food-motivated (which is great for training) and has made tons of progress! With consistency and continued training, he’s expected to thrive. His foster described him as an amazing, loving dog who truly deserves a wonderful forever home. Waggles🐾🐾 is fun-loving, goofy, and overall just the whole package.
