And they should have been told no.
It was meant to be the equivalent of an air raid warning, telling us that our lives were in immediate danger.
Not a system for the state to tell us not to have a BBQ.
Please @RickKackis churn out more videos babe, I have no idea how all of these new things work!
The Destiny 2 community need to be a little bit careful with all these petitions and action days to save the game and IP.
Elon might see it and then he might try to buy Bungie from Sony...
Can't reply because the original poster, in typical Marathon style hit the block button to avoid reality.
So anyway, my posts and bio has obviously tilted you quite badly, my advice is to take whatever medication you accidentally skipped.
Replying to @quazeebo @A_PrincessMarie
Okay everybody as per the nice lady’s bio, she doesn’t know what the fuck shes talking about, do not hire her as a critic. Just because the game isn’t for you, doesn’t mean it’s bad game. Crazy concept I know. I admit it’s a big dick game it’s gonna scare people away only natural
Pretty much exactly my feelings.
NEW VIDEO: A more personal video today where I acknowledge that I'm being selfish, but explaining why I'm so frustrated that Marathon is "not made for me"

Yay!!!
I finally managed to escape from Photoshop without needing to pay an exit fee! Get stuffed @Adobe you bunch of theiving monsters!
Anyone know when the paid Marathon people stop getting paid so I can work out what takes are real and what takes are adverts?
I know the Marathon menu designer will never see this…
But my goodness. This feels awful. I'm terrified of death and I almost don’t want to extract because I know that menu is waiting for me on the other side.
What were you thinking?
I know a lot of people seem to be hating on the Fable trailers.
Is it just me getting excited that it looks like it is going to be a cozy Skyrim?
Stop making PC and console games like they’re mobile games.
We understand the engagement mechanics, and we don’t like them.
We understand FOMO monetisation, and we don’t like that either.
We’re not anti-fans. We’re just tired, pissed-off gamers who want games to be fun again.
Installed Highguard.
Loaded.
Crashed.
Loaded again.
Got to menu.
Launched.

Loaded again.
Got to menu.
Launched.
Got into a match.
Got shouted at by a random because I didn’t instantly know what to do.
Lost.
Alt-F4.
Loaded ARC Raiders instead.
My husband finally convinced me to watch Avatar: Fire and Ash.
I liked Avatar, was less keen on The Way of Water, and went in with low expectations. I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised. We saw it in 3D HFR and visually it blew me away, and I ended up loving the story too

I will expand on my point:
1) You are using AI in your daily life. Search engines are AI-powered, your phone camera is AI-powered (sorry, you haven't become better at taking photos-smudges, blinks-all fixed by AI), Alexa? Siri? Google Assistant? Guess what, they are powered by AI. Netflix, YouTube, Twitch-all use AI to highlight content you're interested in. Google Maps and most navigation apps are now powered by AI to calculate your route. Spam filters, health and fitness trackers, even your online planner-all powered by AI.
You use AI every day to make your life easier and find information faster, you're just too proud to admit it.
2) Witch hunts like with Larian Studios will cause only one thing: they will never tell you they're using AI. You think silly outrage will stop anyone from making their work easier? "Bitch please." I've been here when Photoshop was considered a "real art killer" frowned upon by traditional artists and discarded as "not real art." The majority of art is now made using computer tools.
I remember when tens of thousands of Kodak shops closed down when traditional photography was replaced by digital cameras, millions of people lost their jobs, including me. I don't remember outrage back then.
Let's face it, AI is here whether you like it or not; it will not go away because it makes life easier.
We can be civil about it, accept that studios are using AI, and appreciate that they are willing to be honest with us, or we can fuel witch hunts that will cause studios to be completely silent about any use of AI in their work.
This is no longer Kansas, Dorothy.
Holy fuck guys we’re not "pushing hard" for or replacing concept artists with AI.
We have a team of 72 artists of which 23 are concept artists and we are hiring more. The art they create is original and I’m very proud of what they do.
I was asked explicitly about concept art and our use of Gen AI. I answered that we use it to explore things. I didn’t say we use it to develop concept art. The artists do that. And they are indeed world class artists.
We use AI tools to explore references, just like we use google and art books. At the very early ideation stages we use it as a rough outline for composition which we replace with original concept art. There is no comparison.
I talked about how we use ML here if you would like to know more:

We've hired creatives for their talent, not for their ability to do what a machine suggests, but they can experiment with these tools to make their lives easier.
