God, I love this from @ESPNInsights: Before today, the Big Ten had seven 60-yard field goals in league history. The only other season with multiple made 60-yd FG by Big Ten kickers was 1899 (when league was called Western Conference).

I just hope everyone has the best fucking weekend in B-Town, man.
It's homecoming. It's Halloween. We're hosting Gameday on a classic autumn weekend in the limestone city.
Make a lot of memories and have a lot of laughs, y'all. Wear lots of silly costumes and/or purple.

No dog in the hunt but as someone bred to only believe in campus beauty as a Southern concept, Bloomington really is a picturesque college town.
The best part of these early games is we get to see “play of the day” candidates first thing in the morning.
Anthony Colandrea after The Point:
-5/13, INT called back for roughing
-two rushes for -4 yards
-two sacks taken
-one 3 and out, two turnovers on downs

If Texas wins this it’ll somehow be spun by the feckless national media commentators into being some kind of great victory while Indiana will get criticized for winning on the road against a previously undefeated team.

Folks keep saying "Indiana's first real test".
Northwestern may well be better than Nebraska.

Wanna review the defending National Championship Alabama team from 2021?
Bama won the title after the 2020 season. They entered 2021 ranked #1... even though they lost 6(!) players in the 1st round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Those players included the following:

Try to imagine this scenario: Alabama won the 2025 national championship. Won by 32 to move to 5-0. Dropped in AP poll for third straight week.
Indiana falls again in the AP poll. Good ole Bama passes them this time. #iufb

LSU was supposedly great because they blew out Clemson. That's the same Clemson who is 64th in FPI efficiency with the 109th ranked offense in college football. By the transitive property, Ole Miss was supposedly great because they beat LSU at home.
Florida was supposedly great because they handily beat Ole Miss (42nd in FPI Efficiency) at home, and Florida got talked about as a likely playoff team by a bunch of pundits.
Missouri will now get sunshine-pumped in the polls because they blew out Florida at home - the same Florida that is 77th in FPI defensive efficiency.
(By the way - Florida's chances of making the playoff are now lower than Nebraska or Northwestern. I have a sneaking suspicion that won't be brought up by very many people)
Alabama's offensive dominance has been racked up against the 30th, 35th, 44th, 82nd, and 91st rated defenses.
Kentucky's two SEC wins are by a total of 11 points against the 40th and 57th teams in FPI efficiency.
Baylor beat Arizona State on the road by a bigger margin than Texas A&M beat Arizona State at home.
Nobody launders overrated wins into undeserved AP votes quite like the SEC.
The upset pick is less outrageous than the idea that Rutgers is going to hang 36 on an @Coach_BHaines defense.
Rutgers WILL UPSET Indiana, you heard it here first.
