there’s so much confusion about what’s happening in AI because if you don’t use coding models every day it’s hard to understand how quickly progress is accelerating but if you do, you likely have AI psychosis to a degree that it’s impossible to explain it in an understandable way

Anthropic, Blackstone, and Goldman Sachs officially launched Ode today. A $1.5 billion AI services firm.
Forward deployed engineers embed inside enterprise companies, map their operations, and build custom AI systems on top.
Read that again.
That's essentially what we do at Boom, and what so many operators in this space are doing successfully right now.
Map the workflows first. Consolidate everything into one operating system and layer. Layer AI on top of a foundation that actually works. After 87+ clients, it's the only approach I've seen hold up.
Now the smartest money on the planet put $1.5 billion behind the same playbook.
And to be clear about what this actually means. It doesn't mean the opportunity just closed.
Ode is a boutique firm. Their own executives admit demand for these engineering teams far outstrips supply. Their pipeline comes from PE portfolio companies. They're built to serve a few hundred clients, max.
There are hundreds of thousands of companies (In the USA along) doing $2M to $50M a year. Drowning in manual work. Running on 20 disconnected tools. Full access to the best AI ever built and zero idea how to apply it.
Ode will never call them. Somebody has to.
Blackstone doesn't make $1.5 billion bets on maybes. Neither does Goldman. They ran the numbers and concluded the biggest business in AI is implementation.
Walking into a company, mapping how it actually runs, and building the systems that change it.
They just published the playbook.
Every company on the planet is going to hire an AI services firm. The only open question is whose.
People will read this news, nod, and go back to waiting for a sign.
This was the sign. Go build.
I've started maybe a dozen productivity systems in 15 years. Every one died the same way: maintenance.
Setup is fine. Pick the CRM, build the Notion, design a journal. Week one feels like progress. Week six the fields are blank and you're winging it again.
For the first time in 15 years I've got a productivity tool I trust.
Not because I got more disciplined.
Because the tending happens without me.
My Claude desktop app kept crashing last night. "Process exited with code 1." Red banner. Dead. I'm not an engineer.
So I opened Claude Code in Terminal and asked it to fix the app it lives inside.
It dug through plugin manifests, found 3 broken config files cached across different directories. Patched them. Still broken.
Then it captured a subprocess diagnostics log, reproduced the crash, and traced it to a phantom plugin reference pointing at nothing. Removed it. Fixed.
30 minutes. Zero code written by me. I followed the logic and approved the moves.
My awe with AI has grown in step with my ability to use Claude Code.
Any good stories of your weirdest/favorite use of AI thus far?
Time to wake up!
...if you're going to the Moon. Our Artemis II crew started their second flight day with the sounds of John Legend's "Green Light" (feat. Andre 3000). "Sleepyhead" by Young and Sick roused the crew earlier today.
Conglomerate Mesa, a stunning wilderness bordering our historic Cerro Gordo Ghost Town, faces destruction from open-pit cyanide mining. These are YOUR public lands, used by all for recreation. Watching it get destroyed for foreign profit would be heartbreaking.
A Canadian company wants to open pit cyanide mine Death Valley, and pay $0 to the US. Under an 1872 loophole, they'd pay no royalties on extracted gold while Americans get nothing from OUR public lands. @SecretaryBurgum
Remainder of the 96 Flower supply is going back to the greenhouse. You may swap your flower out this week if you choose. We’d love for holders to have their forever flower. 💐
70 Flowers have been minted from the 96 Flowers collection. The rest of the flowers are going back into our intergalactic greenhouse.
For the next 48 hours, anyone who holds a Flower can window browse the greenhouse and swap their flower for an unminted one. To do this, head over to our Discord (linked below) and reach out to @OGsoyhead in the 96 Flowers channel
