Eight years ago today I was attending the launch of actress Angela Douglas' new novel, Josephine, with friends Valerie Leon & agent Barry Langford.
I miss Angela. She's in a home now and her memory is poor. Happy memories of many fun times together. I miss that Angela so much.

It was a huge scandal when Sammy Davis Jr. married Swedish actress May Britt in 1960. When they wed, interracial marriage was banned by law. It caused massive public outrage. 20th Century Fox terminated her movie contract, effectively ending her rapidly rising Hollywood career.
