🚨 Judge Bloom has officially entered an Order Scheduling Trial in the Hadley v. Perez case. 📅 Key dates: • Trial: two week calendar starting December 14, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in Miami • Calendar call: Tuesday, December 8 at 1:45 p.m. • November 23: deposition designations due • November 27: objections, counter designations and deposition copies due • November 30: pretrial stipulation, witness and exhibit lists, joint motions in limine summary, voir dire questions, jury instructions and verdict form, stipulated facts due • Friday before trial at 3 p.m.: notice if the case settles 📌 Also in the order: • Motions in limine are only accepted in one joint summary • No demonstrative exhibits without written agreement or Court approval ⚖️ Still pending before the Court: summary judgment motions from the parties, including Desiree Perez's request to have all claims against her dismissed, along with her objection to the magistrate judge's recommendation. This order only sets the schedule and does not rule on any of that. With trial deadlines now in place, a ruling on summary judgment could come soon and show what, if anything, moves forward to trial.
