"Conventional statistical methods only allowed for calculating the effect of a single gene. In contrast, the symbolic regression models from the #QLattice revealed combinations of genes and modules."

Next time you want to scratch an itch, just remember: It's much worse in #space. And now we know why!
Read this case study to see how our #QLattice uniquely identified key "partner" genes involved in skin spaceflight response.
Big thanks to previous Abzoids Jonas Elsborg and @samdemharter for their amazing work.

This is the kind of scientific knowledge our AI delivers: Not a black-box model that generates predictions, but an explainable model that can tell you what will happen -- and why! Watch how ⏯

We ditched the traditional swag option for a more personal and green approach by encouraging Abzoids to bring their preferred textile – preferably pre-loved – to screen-print our logo on. Neat!
Shoutout to Abzoid Maria Jacobsen for the awesome idea and execution!

A testament to innovation and collaboration:
"Abzu’s explainable artificial intelligence technology and in-house #RNA and data science capabilities was a key stepping stone for our R&D strategy to develop novel and innovative #ASO and #siRNA therapeutics."

4 years ago at Abzu, things looked very different! We had a Zoom room open all day, which had an average of eight Abzoids at any time with various emotions (concentration, frustration, amusement, etc.), or sometimes empty chairs or couches as symbols of solidarity, or the occasional cat or kid vying for attention.

A supercomputing center with 15,000 Nvidia H100s! Impressive, and a major boost for Danish AI research. As a skeptic about the growing use of black box AI in scientific research, I am also concerned.
In drug discovery, and in most other fields, understanding the science is just as important as predictions. We need to understand pathologies, pathways, and modes of interaction, not just throw data at a supercomputer and get predictions that may be correct but which nobody understands.
Otherwise, we will end up like ignorants who visit an Oracle of Delphi, hoping to get answers without understanding.
I am happy that this amazing machine is being built, but don't give up on good old science, please.
Incidentally, there are types of AI that can help with real scientific discovery, too.
Getting closer to in vivo success. Our proprietary technology and brilliant Abzoids ensure that each step that we help our partners take in their pipeline is actually a leap towards viable, in vivo success. What if we told it was as easy as 3 steps? 👇

That's a wrap! Disa Tehler, what a star 🤩 Your keynote: "From prediction to precision: Getting closer to in silico designs that work in humans" was the most mentioned in the following panels and conversations.
Thank you, @RNALeaders, and we look forward to seeing you next year!
