My immigrant story shaped who I am. I’ve spent my career fighting—and winning—for working people. With costs rising and our democracy under threat, we need a fighter who knows what’s at stake and isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves. 7 days to go. Let’s win this together.

Six years ago, in the early morning hours of March 27th, NYCT Train Operator Garrett Goble was operating the 0213 ‘2’ train from Flatbush Ave. bound for 241st St. in The Bronx. Just a week earlier a stay at home order was issued in New York State, as the global pandemic tore through the city and across the world. Despite the fear gripping his hometown and the unseen danger lurking at every turn, T/O Goble showed up for work that night. He picked up a job on the midnight ‘2’ train, one of the toughest runs in the subway system— a line known to RTO crews as “The Beast”. Goble, a six year employee of Transit, was approximately one hour into the overnight journey when a fire set by an arsonist erupted in the second car of his train. By the time it pulled into the Central Park North—110th St. station, the 0213 out of Flatbush was engulfed in flames. Acting quickly, decisively, and with the utmost courage, Goble along with his conductor evacuated all passengers from the burning train to safety. Tragically, Goble lost his life during his heroic final acts. He was only 36 years old. Goble was a beloved son, husband, and father of two young boys. He was a gentleman, a hard worker, and a consummate professional who is celebrated by his brothers and sisters throughout NYC Transit and TWU Local 100. Garrett Goble’s dedication and bravery exemplifies the highest ideals of our profession. We remember his sacrifice today, and honor his memory forever. Garrett M. As mayor, I issued marriage licenses to same-sex couples in San Francisco. The polls were against us. Republicans were attacking us. Even many in my own party said it was too soon. Have the courage to lead.

HUGE NEWS: @Gillette is choosing South Boston as the home of their new Global HQ and Innovation Center. Gillette has been part of the Massachusetts story for more than a century — and with this investment, we’ll stay a hub for advanced manufacturing for generations to come.

Thank you Congresswoman. I feel good about what I said to you last week, and here’s what I’ll say today: Hillary was dumbfounded by the conspiracy theories you seemed to mash together. Then she was appalled by your inability to find a coherent line of inquiry. Then she was pissed because you interrupted her while she was literally talking about people murdered in a terrorist attack in response to a question you asked. And while you’re throwing around words like “lie” and “cover up,” only one of us was declared the subject of an ethics investigation in the last hour. Have a terrific day.
