I am currently at Doornkop Community Hall, alongside my beautiful wife, our Provincial and Regional Leadership, the community, our activists, and most importantly, the grieving family of the late Cllr. Busisiwe Mwale, as we gather to celebrate her life and honour a legacy that will never be forgotten. Today is a painful reminder that behind every leader is a family, loved ones and a community left to grapple with the pain of loss. As we remember Cllr. Mwale, our thoughts and prayers remain with her family. May they find strength in the love surrounding them and comfort in the memories of the life she lived. May her soul rest in eternal peace. #MHSRP

Our seniors deserve better than what the city is giving them. The Park Cottages is truly where the are dumped and forgotten. No water for a week, no electricity for 2 weeks and grass so long you can’t see out the door. Today we brought dignity back and a smile that “Christmas came early” those who know me, seniors, children and animals are my passion. I was so furious when I first got there that I forked out my own money to fix some things. One being a window that’s been broken for 5 years, rats were climbing in and eating the man’s food. I’m not going to abandon them, it’s a mission now to get it fixed. @HermanMashaba @Action4SA @Funzi_Ngobeni
