Adam Silver is an overall bad commissioner who just pads his stats every 10 years when the Clippers find themselves involved in some huge scandal

There is a "significant upswing" in speculation that the “NBA hammer” is likely to fall on the Clippers for the Kawhi Leonard Aspiration scandal, per @sam_amick “This was a noticeable shift from earlier in the season, when so many seemed to believe that the Leonard/Aspiration scandal might come and go without any substantive punishment being handed down.” (h/t @TheNBABase)

You simply have to hand it to ESPN for going all in on Pat McAfee and letting former employee Pablo Torre dogwalk the entire network on the biggest NBA story in years

Inside Joe Mazzulla’s unorthodox offseason: an exclusive conversation with the Celtics head coach

Mazzulla travelled from Portugal to Spain to Nebraska to Texas in hopes of deepening his relationship with each of his players. I sat down with him to discuss why.

It’s not even the worst Paul George trade I’ve ever seen
On The Prowl (@ontheprowl_MN) profile pictureOn The Prowl@ontheprowl_MNJul 1
This might be the 2nd worst NBA trade I’ve ever seen right behind Luka. 36-year old Paul George is the return player?!? And only 2 firsts? AND trading him to a conference rival? What on earth is Boston thinking? HUGE win for Philly

"A 2028 first-round pick: The Sixers own two first-round picks (their own and the Clippers’) so Boston will end up with the more preferable of those picks. This won’t be a pick swap as some have reported." - BRobb

8 1sts, 7 2nds and a $56M expiring salary next summer? (assuming PG opt-in)

Boston Celtics after trading Jaylen Brown for Paul George and two first-round picks. Salary cap situation relatively unchanged. George also has a trade bonus that increases his $54.1 million salary to $57.7 million max. They have a surplus of 8 first-round picks and 7 seconds.

Pretty meh trade for the Sixers IMO. Volume scoring, interior pressure + health are all big improvements. But it's a shooting/passing/defensive downgrade -- all things they really need -- on a bigger contract + 2 firsts. Jaylen is younger/better/healthier than PG, of course.

Luke Kornet said “no more Magic City night”, poof it’s gone. Giannis said “I want out” and he still in Milwaukee. It’s clear who has more motion in this league.
