Everyone living in Canada is digital-by-default, even if they are offline or rarely use digital technologies, and people are increasingly exposed to a wide range of potential online threats to their public safety.
All people in Canada are digital-by-default—whether they are online or not. While the internet and its associated technologies provide many benefits and are essential to everyday life, they also enable malicious actors to target people and communities. Vulnerable Connections details a range of cyber-enabled harms, the challenges facing policymaking and enforcement of existing rules, and opportunities for improving digital public safety

About 2 years ago I randomly decided to pick up python. (Those of you following me since then saw this happen in real-time.) This decision completely changed my career trajectory in a way I never saw coming (read: for the MUCH better). If you use MATLAB, learn #python. Today.

I am looking at so many papers on the daily and I think my brain hasn’t felt this alive since week one of graduate school. The biggest joy of being a science writer is truly constantly being reminded that science is indeed cool.

Who can I interview for a feature on The History of Professional Headshots? Also, how does one obtain a nice looking headshot?

No, I don't think it's because I've had 3 non-DIY haircuts since 2014. I'm sure it's because phone cameras just don't cut it.

Probably going to go with this, my #Bridgerton look. This is not a costume, this is a completely typical, daily fit.

Every year, CCA staff read an endless number of academic texts, journals, studies, scientific publications, reports and more! But we’re also avid readers outside of work. On this #WorldBookDay2022 and #CanadaBookDay, we thought we’d share our favourite Canadian reads.

#JourneeMondialeDuLivre
