This doesn’t look good on them. I’m all about another option. I may not change, but love the a different option for service.
AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile are jointly lobbying the FCC to preserve existing rules as @SpaceX moves closer to launching its own independent cellular network that would compete directly with the three major U.S. carriers.
On Oct 20th, reps from all three major U.S. wireless carriers met with FCC officials to push back against proposed changes that would give satellite companies more freedom to offer cellular service.
The carriers urged the FCC to:
• Block satellite companies from using certain 5G frequencies currently used by wireless carriers.
• Keep rules requiring satellite companies to get permission from wireless carriers before using their licensed spectrum.
• Allow wireless carriers to maintain control over these agreements, including the ability to end them.
• Reconsider proposed interference limits to protect existing cellular networks.
Based on all the public communications from these carriers, and the lobbying, they are clearly worried that SpaceX's @Starlink Mobile network is going to be a major competitor to them. Starlink Mobile will become the first network operator to deploy both satellite and terrestrial spectrum.
The FCC recently announced that they are considering new rules that could make it easier for satellite companies like SpaceX to offer cellular service without relying as heavily on existing wireless carriers, so this is partly what the three big carriers are fighting against.

I don't think many people understand what's going on in cyber-security right now.
@RockRMS community: know that we're not waiting for CVE numbers patches are coming as quickly and often as needed.
Replying to @anton_chuvakin
It can take over a month to get a CVE assigned to a vulnerability via github these days. github.com/orgs/community/di…
That's a long time for known critical bugs to sit unpatched if you're waiting for the CVE.
One vendor I know has stopped applying for them due to the delay.
Rock security releases for v17, v18 and v19 are coming next week. Plan your update now so you're ready to install right away. Need help? rockrms.com/partners

Hey Grok bot team!
Please can we get Apple connectors?
Thank You,
From every Apple user
I consider myself an early tech adopter. I still can’t figure out the value of foldable phones. With the iPhone Ultra around the corner, who is thinking about getting it? What’s the value a fold solves for you? #appleevent
Our mission is to make enterprise-level tech accessible to churches of all sizes, and we're honored that 10 of the 12 largest churches in America trust us to power their digital ministries. Rock is for leaders who want to focus more on ministry and less on administration.

Tesla’s Model Y Robotaxis caused zero crashes or accidents from mid-June through mid-July, according to newly released NHTSA data.
The only two incidents cited involving @Tesla’s Robotaxi fleet were caused by human drivers in other vehicles making mistakes:
• Incident #1 summary (in Dallas): The robotaxi was stopped at an intersection on a four-lane street in Lane #1, at a red left arrow light in the left-turn-only lane. An SUV behind the robotaxi activated their right turn signal and initiated a lane change into Lane #2, a straight-through lane, and collided with the left side of a passenger vehicle that was proceeding straight in Lane #2, before colliding with the right side of the robotaxi. There were no passengers.
• Incident #2 summary (in Austin): The robotaxi was pulled over and in park on the right side of an alleyway. A passenger vehicle that was parked to the right reversed and collided with the right side of the robotaxi. There were no passengers.

Just got this clip from a follower showing their @Tesla avoiding a collision recently on the highway while on FSD (Supervised) V14.
Here are all the angles. Self-Driving data at top:

The biggest tension of the AI age isn't humans vs. machines. It's intelligence vs. wisdom. One is getting cheaper by the day. The other has a source no model can train on.
This is a really interesting read. I’d be interested to hear how orgs in the non-profit sector are figuring this out.
Love seeing how @RockRMS is empowering the global Church!
Proof of God’s providence and the power of community!
This weekend I was at a wedding in Antigua, Guatemala. While waiting for photos at the hotel, Jorge Dieguez from the Rock Community walked by - we’d met at RX25.
He shared: “At this very moment, one of our church sites is happening right here in the hotel, already using Rock RMS for visitor and kids check-in. For 15 years we’ve rented this space every Sunday… and now Rock is part of it.”
What an amazing divine appointment! 🙌
