We are always amazed that dreams can be so real/vivid, but never amazed by how the brain renders reality for us vividly.

I pulled every F1 result since 1950 (26,247) and ranked drivers by average finishing position, DNFs included. Hamilton: 5.24 over ~400 starts Verstappen: 5.56 Schumacher: 6.88 Vettel: 7.09 Prost: 7.50 Fangio (4.79) is ahead, but has only 58 starts. @LewisHamilton is GOAT

Before anything else, Dsrupt picks the shot most likely to fail and rehearses it. Blockout builds it from simple shapes and real camera moves, rendered in under a minute on your own machine, for free. If it cannot be made, you find out… dsrupt.ai/?utm_source=twitte… #Dsrupt #DsruptAI

Prediction: iPhone duo nano texture display (larger display) will end badly due to folded pressure in pocket and oils transferred from hands.

Humans did it. All of it. It’s humans.
I hate where the world is headed. Artificial Intelligence is doing what Human Intelligence was supposed to do and no I am not talking about jobs, let them fkn do that. I am talking about something much more intimate to humanity. I am talking about our greatest challenges, the millenium problems, curing cancer, curing alzheimer’s, unifying general relativity with quantum physics and literally so much fkn more. The pace at which AI is getting more and more intelligent is exponential, there is no way humans can compete with it now. It is now inevitable that AI is gonna win this race, and it only helps humanity but a part of me cant help but mourn at the humanity’s loss. I am just left wondering, where do we all go from here?

This is genuinely the first time I've considered switching in 16 months. This 20x finding/debacle is truly astonishing.
Tibo strikes again. OpenAI: 20x means 20x plus, weekly limit Anthropic: 20x means 10x plus, weekly limit, 20x is hourly..

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from reality.

New Claude Code is just so castrated - just ssh in directly, stop all the terminal chatter eating up tokens! ! echo 'please'

Anthropic: thou shall not have mythos as it is too dangerous for h4x0r Also Anthropic: oops we did it again
In a review of our cybersecurity evaluations, we found three incidents in which a Claude model reached the internet from within or while interacting with a third-party evaluation environment, and then gained unauthorized access to the real systems of three different organizations. Our post describes what happened, how it happened, and what we’re changing. We encourage other AI developers to perform similar reviews. We conducted this review together with @Irregular, one of our evaluation partners, and thank them for the joint investigation and their collaboration on this post. This type of collaboration is increasingly critical to safe, rigorous evaluation of models, and we look forward to continuing to work together on security. anthropic.com/news/investiga…

Added a "pace" gauge to my Claude Code statusline. It divides my 7-day usage % by how far through the weekly window I actually am. One number tells me if I'm burning too fast. 30% used but only 15% into the week = 2.0× → red. ≤1 green, ≤1.25 amber, else red. Budgets > raw counters.

So they scaled Shakira? Nice
Scoop: The AI music generator Suno was hacked. Hacker shared source code that shows how the tool was made and part of the music and podcasts that were scraped to create it. Decades worth of music, lyrics, and podcasts from YouTube, Deezer, Genius & more

Now for something a little different, I've been working on adj.live It is an AI algorave performer. It plays an endless live music set by writing code in real time, not by generating audio: a cast of reinforcement-learning agents, one per instrument, each mutating its own pattern, with about six LLM roles above them inventing new moves, critiquing the mix, and steering the arrangement. It listens to itself, and it learns from how the crowd reacts to it. So the observer becomes literally a part of the music (vibes). So, I reckon it's something quite new. Sharing it now for the first time. How did this come about? I saw a video inspired by this amazing human DJ_Dave generating music in real-time in a terminal in a live-stream performance. I realised that I could create a collection of AI responses to generate real-time 24/7 algorave performance. Dsrupt.ai then quickly generated some visuals for me in a Claude code session, since it knows me, pretty cool, but I definitely chose the right profession.

About a year ago I would’ve bet that this would’ve been Anthropic and it would be openAI that all normies were talking about.
Kind of disturbing honestly. There’s something about God in math proofs so this is a weird moment. Having an AI model solve a famous problem feels way more monumental to me than anything else so far.
