Find it rather disgusting that parents are still being fleeced on this crap. See a lot of the regional “Chelsea” set ups with coaches that ain’t getting near the academy but wear a logo which means parents will pay. 🤦🏻♂️
Love it - charge parents £4000 a week then nick the best kids for free and still parents fall for the propaganda 🤣🤣
“…Next Monday, during half-term, dozens of children will pack into Chelsea’s training ground. These players have not been selected. Rather, they will be at Cobham because their parents have paid for coaching. Each week at Chelsea, parents pay £120 an hour for children to receive one-on-one coaching. This is merely a glimpse of how clubs monetise parents. A two-week camp at Charterhouse School next summer, during which children train for up to 24 hours each week with Chelsea coaches, costs £4,700. Training is so bespoke that there are even goalkeeping camps…”

Looking forward to tmrw. Our U13s have our first ever league game at home. Started the season really well with lots of progression ahead. If you’re in the #Sevenoaks area and want to watch some football at 3pm, give me a shout and I can forward details. #LTG🩵⚽️

Charlie Tasker 🅰️ 🤝 Dajaune Brown ⚽️
The inside underlapping run from Tasker and lovely cross on his weaker foot to find Brown’s intelligent movement.
Superb goal 😮💨 #RAFC
Watching the boy this morning against @ManCityAcademy @ManCity for @BrentfordFC Always proud, go smash it pal 🩵⚽️
It will never make sense
Just getting started, stick with him and look after him 🩵⚽️ @officiallydale
Charlie Tasker appreciation 👏
For someone so young with little experience, he has been excellent
He plays with such composure and maturity to his game.
Out of the position at LB yesterday and didn’t put a foot wrong.
Defensively solid. Tidy on the ball. Driving runs.

Great to see players you’ve coached over the years hitting good levels. One playing @BrentfordFC Cat 1 for the U16s v @ChelseaFC yesterday, one scoring again for @England U20s, a few others now playing regularly in the @EFL Many more to come too, chase ur dreams, it can happen!
Interesting this one…..has beaten the top 3 in the league and wants to bring in new players due to other results. Sounds like something that’s internal and needs working out as they can clearly do it at this level. Not sure external is the answer based on those 3 results

Back in the dugout after a 1-game absence, manager @TylerChambers_ reacts to two disappointing defeats this week against Kingstonian and Punjab United #HTFC 💜🩵
Clubs now hitting the 10 game point. Thats around the quarter mark for the season in most leagues. Where you are now is generally the level you are working at in your league. It’s unlikely to get much better or worse if you keep doing what you’re doing. Tables tell no lies now
Ordered a Chinese an hour and a half ago…..at what time do I make some cheese on toast? 🤦🏻♂️ #Takeaway
Can’t be fairer than that if you ask me. A manager has to be strong in his beliefs and needs conviction in his decisions.
🚨Jorge Jesus on Cristiano Ronaldo’s role for Portugal against Denmark:
🗣️ Jorge Jesus: “I respect Cristiano Ronaldo enormously, but respect does not mean he has to be the main character every time Portugal plays. Cristiano is 41 now. He is not the same player he was at 25, 28 or even 32, and pretending otherwise would be unfair to him and unfair to the team. I didn’t call him up because I believe Portugal must play every match around him. I called him because he still has experience, personality and a level of leadership that can be valuable to this group.
“But against Denmark, if I need players to press for 90 minutes, run behind the defence, recover the ball and constantly change positions, I will choose the players who can give me that today. I am not going to put Cristiano on the pitch simply because his name is Ronaldo. That would be managing the reputation of a player rather than managing the national team. If I need him for 20 minutes, he plays 20. If I need him for 30, he plays 30. And if I don’t need him, he can sit beside me and help the younger players understand what it means to represent Portugal.
“Cristiano has already had his time as the player everyone had to build around. He doesn’t need me to pretend otherwise. His greatest contribution now may not be scoring the winning goal or playing every minute. It may be walking into that dressing room, looking at the younger players and telling them what he learned after 20 years at the highest level. That is leadership too. I want him to understand that being important doesn’t always mean being on the pitch.
“And I know some people will be angry because they hear ‘Cristiano Ronaldo’ and immediately think he must play. But I cannot select a player because of his history. I select him because of what he can give me today. Cristiano gave Portugal extraordinary moments, but those moments belong to the past. Against Denmark, I need to win the match in the present. If that means Cristiano starts, he starts. If it means he sits, he sits. Portugal owes Cristiano respect, but Portugal owes the team the truth.”
