Reports coming in of high numbers of faba bean aphids in the CW - 1st time in the district.
How to tell:
◾️Multiplies extremely quickly & big numbers
◾️Intense red eyes
◾️Can be found all over the plant, not just growing tips
◾️Hosts: fabas & vetch.

573mm at our trial site can't stop fall armyworm. Another egg lay last night amongst all the rain. Large numbers of medium to large larvae still survived in vegetative maize despite the big wet. Unknown how pupae went in the wet soil #FAW
