Today is the First-Time, Long-Time Conference!
We offer each OVEC district over $32,000 of tuition assistance each year through this and other programs.
Districts can receive more funding than they pay in dues. The math is funny, but it’s about the impact! #EmpoweringEducators
Got to brag about the financial value @OVECkyed brings to our member districts. Next year, they get a 10% discount on dues.
We also continue to invest funding back into our districts, through initiatives like First-Time, Long-Time.
Very appreciative of our board's leadership
One of the most important trainings I've ever been to! If you have a role in a school-aged child's life, you should take this day to learn about youth mental health!
Youth Mental Health First Aid Training June 3, 2026! Located at the Shelbyville Conference & Welcome Center. To learn more and register follow this link ➡️ docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F…
Check out this live event, happening now! @Kathymhouse is sharing about @OVECkyed's computer science micro-credential program!

@OVECkyed recognizes Child Abuse Prevention Month each April. I appreciate our team's commitment to this cause!
One new great resource is Because of a Shoe by Julie Fogliano and Marla Frazee. It’s an honest look at child and adult emotions with a tender, touching ending.
What a bright idea! 💡 @OVECkyed Trimble County Head Start is learning all about light.
Want another bright idea?
You can help our youngest learners at the Dart for Head Start 5K on June 6. This year, it’s in Louisville and has a mile-walk option.

Spent the day judging the Lesson Plan Competition at the Educators Rising State Competition. Really impressed by the creativity, preparation, and passion these future educators brought to their work. The future of education is bright.
@OVECkyed
Our @OVECkyed districts are good stewards of state education funding! This school year, they leveraged SEEK increases to raise teacher salaries.
Increasing our investment in public education directly benefits educators and the students they serve.

Thank you, Grant County Schools, for hosting @OVECkyed and our "Same Learning, Different Paths" professional learning!
A theme from this session is true for all learners: lower expectations restrict skill development.
