I get tired of Democrats claiming to be on the “right side of history” when both their past and their present are so utterly sordid and destructive. So, if you are a Democrat, let me tell you about MY side of history and YOUR side of history.
My side of history is Cato the Elder, John Locke, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Irving Babbitt and William F. Buckley. Your side of history is Thomas Hobbes, Karl Marx, Josef Stalin, Mao’s Little Red Book and Noam Chomsky.
My side of history is George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Martin Luther King, Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. Your side of history is Tories who fled to Canada, Jefferson Davis, Woodrow Wilson, Bull Connor, George Wallace and Nancy Pelosi.
My side of history is freedom of thought, freedom of speech, freedom of religion and spirited debate. Your side of history is ThoughtCrime, Speech Codes, religious persecution and Cancel Culture.
My side of history is Brown v. Board of Ed., Loving v. VA, Gitlow v. NY, and Heller v. DC. Your side of history is Dred Scott, Korematsu and Roe v. Wade.
My side of history is Jackie Robinson. Your side of history is Colin Kaepernick.
My side of history is head held high, standing straight, hand over heart. Your side of history is sullen glances at the ground, kneeling.
My side of history is the family as the foundation of society. Your side of history is mutilating confused children.
My side of history is the rockets’ red glare. Your side of history is imagine no religion.
My side of history is firefighters going up the stairs into the Twin Towers. Your side of history is 28-year-old men playing Call of Duty in their mothers’ basements.
My side of history is smoked brisket. Your side of history is a no-foam, no-sugar, soy latte.
My side of history is Lincoln freeing the slaves and General Patton liberating Buchenwald. Your side of history is Fort Sumter, the Gulag and Pol Pot’s killing fields.
My side of history is Mel Brooks. Your side of history is Amy Schumer.
My side of history is all men and women are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights. Your side of history is critical theory and only some lives matter.
My side of history is 20-year-olds storming Omaha Beach. Your side of history is 20-year-olds in their safe spaces with adult coloring books.
My side of history is American men and women disabled by an IED. Your side of history is American men and women disabled by anxiety.
My side of history is the Kentucky Rifle, the Springfield 1861, the M1911, the M1 Garand, the M14 and the AR15. Your side of history is whimpering submission.
My side of history is Thomas Edison, the Wright Brothers, Apollo 11 and Jonas Salk. Your side of history is “global warming,” 100+ genders and porous cloth masks stopping viruses.
My side is of history is laughing babies. Your side of history is selling aborted baby parts on the open market.
My side of history is the Sistine Chapel and Monet’s water lilies. Your side of history is an inverted crucifix in a bottle of urine.
My side of history is construction. Your side of history is deconstruction.
My side of history is civilization. Your side of history is nihilism.
And, MOST OF ALL:
My side of history is liberty. Your side of history is tyranny.

As gratifying as it is to see Nikki Floris and Bradley Benavides finally facing accountability, let us not lose sight of the sheer magnitude of what they did, which dwarfs the minor charge of lying to Congress under 18 U.S.C. § 1001 that they now face.
These two played a central role in clearing Joe Biden’s path to the White House in 2020 by deliberately derailing investigations into Biden family corruption and planting the fabricated narrative that any damaging information about the Bidens was Russian disinformation. That narrative became the pretext for suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story and unleashed an avalanche of media lies. Floris was so brazen that she even explicitly claimed to be running the shadow government.
So as welcome as this news is, everyone needs to understand that these two are only being charged with lying about what they did, not for what they did.
Floris and Benavides provided an unsolicited briefing to me and @ChuckGrassley in August 2020 — then someone leaked it to the media to smear me.
There is much more to this story and more players involved. I certainly hope the @FBI and @TheJusticeDept use these charges to extract and expose the whole truth.
Really now
This morning, two former senior FBI officials, Nikki Floris, 46, and Bradley Benavides, 56, surrendered on arrest warrants after being charged with lying to Congress about their roles on the Foreign Influence Task Force during the 2020 election. Floris and Benavides allegedly lied to Congress about their roles in the FBI’s Hunter Biden investigations, with one claiming they only learned about it from Wikipedia - despite evidence showing their involvement in helping shape the public narrative about Hunter Biden’s laptop right before the election.
Lying to Congress by anyone strikes at the heart of our democratic system, but when senior FBI agents lie to Congress believing they are above the law, it’s time to bring the hammer of justice down on them. When senior officials entrusted with safeguarding our nation’s security choose deception over duty, they undermine the very institutions they swore to uphold.
Today’s action makes clear that no one is above the law, and we will hold accountable all who obstruct the truth.

The 2018/2020 candidate group was organized in response to the Trump election two years prior.
Everyone from within that CIA group was financed, supported and installed in order to assist the U.S. Intelligence Community defend itself and retain power.

Behold the great meme war between the Turks 🇹🇷 and Chinese 🇨🇳 which has been brewing now for 3 days!
It began with a small Turkish account posting a meme of a cat wearing a straw hat + slitty eyes + wispy moustache. A Chinese user then replied with a meme of Patrick Star from SpongeBob parachuting next to the Turkish flag, with a caption along the lines of “I heard the Turkish flag was designed like this, is that true? Both were from small anonymous accounts but now has been viewed by several millions.
Turks took it as mockery of a national symbol and all hell breaks lose.
The broader historical and cultural pile-on on both sides were equally impressive in its deep knowledge of Ottoman / Chinese history, along with very creative vulgarity. I read one Chinese tweet calling Turkey the fleshlight of the entire world. Both sides insulted each other as “might as well be Indians.” Then it got super testy when it ventured into Turkestan/Xinjiang/Uyghur territory, and soon out came digs about the Turkish lira, China virus and other general nationalist trash talk.
The next stage was the free speech Olympics. Turks started posting images of Xi Jinping and daring Chinese users to criticize him to prove that China is “free.” Chinese replies often flipped it to “you criticize Xi but none of you dare criticize Muhammad.” When no Chinese account could criticize Xi, the Turks concluded they were all bots.
The latest stage has been the international expansion.
Japan + Taiwan + Azerbaijan + Spain lined up with Turks against China.
Japanese accounts were the most visible contingent. Taiwan joined the Turkish side for obvious reasons. Azerbaijan was in Turkic solidarity mode. South Korea and Spain too for reasons which are not clear to me.
Iran + Greece + India + Egypt joined up with the Chinese against Turkey.
I saw an Iranian account openly telling the Chinese to keep going and “discipline the Turks” because the Ottoman/Persian rivalry runs deep still. Greece obviously went against the Turks and as for India, who knows. Could’ve gone either way but they chose the Chinese.
The whole thing, while viscous and passionate at times, has strangely left me with the warm fuzzies. Imagine how much more boring life would’ve been without @X’s auto-translate feature

Slotkin is a CIA transplant who got inserted into the US congress as part of a pilot program to get former spooks into elected office to subvert populism
She’s a fairly unremarkable sociopathic narcissist (typical for CIA) and she’s just doing DARVO tactics here, its boring
