Anyone that has played football will know exactly what the defender is doing! Itโs an unnecessarily over aggressive tackle. Heโs locked into the sideline, and heโs tried to โput him in the standsโ. Dowman is very lucky not to do his knee/ankle ligaments or even break his leg/ankle. I think the INTENT in that tackle does more damage to football and fellow footballers careers than the slightly emotional 16 year old reaction, where actually, the kid is โlooking after himselfโ.
