Watching @PetrYanUFC fight is so awesome. That clip from @illa below is a perfect example. Yan with the data downloaded is mythical. He enters The Matrix and goes super saiyan.
BUT....
As @BenTheBaneDavis said, those slow starts kill me. For the first 1.5 rounds against Merab he looked bewilderingly stiff and threw almost nothing. I was screaming at my TV. Once he gets going, he looks amazing, but it's almost like watching two different fighters - Yan with data, and Yan "still downloading".
These slow starts mean that three round fights are not Yan's friend. Fortunately, as champion, he's going to be fighting 5 rounders. It looks like O'Malley is going to be next. While Sean got the first one in a very, very close 3 rounder, I'm pretty excited to see what this looks like over 5 rounds. If "No Mercy" gets his reads, it could be a bad night at the office for The Suga Show.

Reyes has now won 5 out of his last 6 with the loss coming at the hands of Ulberg, the current LHW champion. While i'd love to see Reyes vs @BorrachinhaMMA, I'm not sure the UFC will make that fight any time soon. So let's see Reyes vs Khalil Rountree early next year?

For me, it was after the Sean Strickland win over Khamzat Chimaev. I was watching DJ's post-fight analysis and it was biased salty cope. In either real or feigned ignorance of the scoring criteria, he argued that because Chimaev had more takedowns and more control time, he obviously should have won. His content about Song Yadong's victory over Umar Nurmagomedov was more of the same.
Let's not even get into his most insane takes - "Anthony Joshua beats Francis Ngannou in MMA" or "Jake Paul could knock out Anthony Joshua"
His split with The MMA Guru over his loyalty to Team Khabib was the canary in the coal mine.
