Dave Aranda is intriguing. He worked with Moffitt at LSU, so there might be a connection there. However, their philosophies are significantly different. I can’t see Elko going for it.

My thoughts on Lincoln Riley: 1) He’s going to want a boatload of money to be an OC here. 2) I don’t think his style of offense is what Elko wants. So I would be shocked if A&M were interested in him.

The lack of this team’s ability to make halftime adjustments is baffling. Remember how good Elko’s defenses under Jimbo were with adjustments? What happened to that? So is it the coordinator’s inability or is it the players’ inability?

One ironic outcome of this disaster is that the guy last year that talked about BAS and that he didn’t understand it and wasn’t apart of any of that now has written his own special chapter of it.

If you’re going to get rid of people, you might as well do it now. At least give fans, players (now and future) something to look forward to. Let the hype machine roll with possibilities.
