"The oppressed will not be liberated by the generosity of the oppressor, but by their own efforts and sacrifices." The human trafficking, murders, targeted killings, ecocide, poverty, and genocide will not end until the colonial states of the western hemisphere have fallen

My point is that we shouldn't automatically trust Native people who participate in colonial structures, because doing so ends up perpetuating those structures. We should instead build independent structures, run by the people, for the people, outside of colonial structures
Know who you're talking to before you respond. I've been trolled for this picture for almost 5 years now and have never backed down from its message. My point is that we deserve the respect of being identified by our Native Nations, not as a colonial monolith but go off.

Natives running in elections arent "infiltrating" high level positions in a foreign government They are the colonial elite serving their own self interests
Natives infiltrating high level positions in a foreign government built upon our continued oppression and the blood of our ancestors is a big deal. And asking that a Native be referred to by their Native Nation *is* honoring the ancestors who fought do those names survived.

Translation: CSIS needs to spy on more indigenous people
"the funding would help CSIS engage with Canadians in their communities" oh, ok, cool, sounds good man. I love when CSIS engages with my community.

All of this just to send money to Israel
Her grandmother was taken from her family at eight. Today, her granddaughter is the first Native American woman elected governor in US history. In the early 20th century, an eight-year-old Native American girl named Helen was taken from her village in New Mexico by a Catholic priest. She was put on a train and sent to St. Catherine's Indian School in Santa Fe, more than 100 miles from home. For five years, she lived away from her family. Her father once travelled three days by horse and wagon to visit her. Helen's granddaughter is Deb Haaland. On November 3, 2026, Haaland was elected governor of New Mexico, becoming the first Native American woman ever elected governor of a US state. But her journey to this moment was anything but straightforward. A member of the Laguna Pueblo, Haaland raised her daughter as a single mother. She experienced homelessness, relied on food stamps and made money selling homemade salsa. She earned her law degree at 45. In 2018, she became one of the first two Native American women elected to Congress. In 2021, she became the first Native American to serve as a US Cabinet secretary, taking charge of the Department of the Interior. The historical irony was extraordinary. She now headed the very department responsible for overseeing much of the federal government's disastrous policies toward Indigenous peoples. Rather than sweeping that history under the carpet, Haaland ordered an investigation into America's Indian boarding schools. The investigation identified 417 schools and documented the deaths of at least 973 Indigenous children. The real number was almost certainly higher. She also travelled to Indigenous communities to listen to survivors describe what had happened to them. And now, at 65, she has won another election and broken another barrier. The institutions that once tried to destroy Indigenous cultures had failed to destroy them. At her election victory celebration, Haaland spoke about the road near her grandmother's childhood home. "And just off this road, my grandmother was taken away to boarding school. Yet we are still here."

Indian Country needs to learn that just because a native is in power they will not act in favor of their interests Look at Richard Wilson as one of the extreme examples who unleashed a right wing terror campaign upon Oglala Lakota Nation killing over 60+ of his own people
This land is thousands of years older than the 250 year old settler state. Celebrating a token Native who has agreed to be the smiling face of her people’s genociders isn't progress. It’s deeply offensive.

Agent of Imperialism, traitor to her people Just like Wab Kinew Indian Country should support Native women who are revolutionaries
Peggy Flanagan (White Earth Ojibwe) makes history as the first Native woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate!!!

This may be a hot take but maybe if you actually supported Indigenous resistance on the land you're standing on, you'd have a better shot at dismantling imperialism abroad.

Literally an act of genocide. Makes me ill to see nominal leftists cheering this on
🚨🇲🇽 BREAKING — New images show Mexico's RELENTLESS TRAIN EXPANSION. Around 60,000 workers on at least 22 active fronts, racing to connect every major city in the country, with the Army leading the charge.

Replying to @Ah_Maskwa
The mungicaker descendants of colonizers forgot where the worlds corn & tomatoes originated from. They raped & pillaged for centuries then they spit hate speech on their victims with impunity like lsraeIis.

All 12 of Michigan’s federally recognized Native American tribes are demanding the immediate closure of the Enbridge Line 5 fossil fuel pipeline, which runs through the Straits of Mackinac. A spill there would contaminate 20% of the world’s fresh surface water
fyi there are about 30,000 more native Americans in Michigan than Jews and there has been zero discussion of them and their concerns at all because they are considered sub-human by the entire Zionist media and political class

My latest is out: A murdered father. Poisoned water. Farmers jailed for defending their land. This week, six communities took Canadian mining to an international human rights hearing. Canada told them to file a complaint, after scrapping the office that took them. Canadians should be appalled. Read it via Indigenous Insider: indigenousinsider.substack.c…

Probably because they know the current government is not in the best interest of natives You're not going to accept a deal when given the short end of the stick, are you? Why do you think the 1969 white paper never passed?
