The Islamic Republic’s campaign of intimidation knows no borders.
Metro reports that pro-regime Telegram channels are again exposing the personal details of Iranian dissidents living in the UK, branding them “traitors”.
Among the latest targets is @alitaranssari , a prominent Iranian activist whose personal details were exposed, followed by death threats.
A disturbing example of #TransnationalRepression.

Yesterday outside the US Embassy in London, a predominantly white, seemingly privileged, left-leaning crowd—with Jewish and Israeli supporters—gathered to oppose genocide. Many arrested.
But where was comparable outrage when the Islamic Republic massacred tens of thousands of Iranians in January 2026 over just 2 days?
Why the selective solidarity?

ohchr.org/sites/default/file…
ohchr.org/en/documents/count…
ohchr.org/en/documents/count…

A billionaire donor to Britain’s Reform UK party was previously involved in a business venture with Astan Quds Razavi, a powerful Iranian religious foundation under the authority of the country’s supreme leader, the Guardian reported.
Hossein “Sasan” Ghandehari, an Iranian-born British businessman who has pledged millions of pounds to Reform UK, was the main investor behind a telecoms project in Iran between 2013 and 2016, according to a French arbitration ruling reviewed by the newspaper.
Ghandehari’s HP Trust ultimately owned Ori Group, which acquired a 49% stake in Omran Razavi International Co, a joint venture established to build and supply a fiber-optic network carrying telecommunications traffic across Iran.
The remaining 51% of the venture was owned by Astan Quds Razavi, or AQR, a multibillion-pound religious foundation based in Mashhad.

Memorial Wall Arson Update
The court heard that Ali Fallahi attempted to burn a photograph of @PahlaviReza, whom he blamed for the death of someone close.
Fallahi reportedly resented Pahlavi for urging Iranians to protest.
Fallahi bailed to attend a Newton hearing scheduled for 27 November.
Update - Golders Green Memorial Wall Arson Case
At Harrow Crown Court today, Ali Fallahi dismissed his solicitors and barrister, citing “cybersecurity concerns”.
The court adjourned sentencing until 27 November to allow him to instruct new solicitors and counsel.
The judge also directed that the case papers be printed and provided to Fallahi in hard copy.

In another twist, the defendant, Ali Fallahi, attempted to dismiss his newly appointed barrister and represent himself, citing cybersecurity concerns.
The court adjourned proceedings briefly to allow the issues concerning legal representation to be addressed.
Today at Harrow Crown Court, the defendant Ali Fallahi appeared before His Honour Judge Lodge.
In a significant development, he changed his plea and pleaded GUILTY to the arson charge relating to the Memorial Wall by MIGA-Rally in Golders Green.
The sentencing hearing has been listed for 16 October 2026.
The defendant was granted bail. However, the judge made clear that the decision to grant bail should not be interpreted as any indication of the sentence that will ultimately be imposed.
One can unequivocally oppose the Islamic Republic without portraying Persian civilisation as an eternal enemy of the West. Persian and Greek civilisations have histories spanning thousands of years. Such histories deserve understanding, not simplistic caricatures.
Mr. @SecRubio, I write this as an educator at one of your Ivy League schools, the University of Pennsylvania, and as someone who has spent years teaching Persian history and culture and their intersections with Greek and Western history and culture.
Your dangerously Eurocentric account of Perso-Greek history is not only distorted and misleading; it also ignores the most basic facts about centuries of cultural exchange between civilizations you frame as fundamentally opposed.
Greek civilization did not develop in isolation from its eastern neighbors, nor did what we now call Western civilization emerge independently of the intellectual and cultural worlds to its east. The Persians and Greeks were not simply enemies locked in an eternal civilizational struggle. They were also neighbors whose worlds intersected through diplomacy, trade, art, religion, literature, philosophy, science, and political thought. The Achaemenid Empire itself was a vast, multicultural world connecting the Mediterranean to Central Asia. Greek thinkers lived and traveled in the wider Persian world, while Greek knowledge, art, and political ideas circulated across the eastern Mediterranean and beyond. These encounters were complex, reciprocal, and often shaped by both conflict and cooperation.
Yes, there were imperial wars between Persians and Greeks, just as there were wars between other ancient empires. But reducing their history to military invasions while erasing centuries of cultural contact and exchange is not historical analysis. It is ideological mythmaking.
Had you engaged seriously with the histories of Persian and Greek philosophy, mathematics, astronomy, mythology, art, and literature, you might have recognized how inadequate and dangerous it is to reproduce the crude civilizational binaries popularized by the notoriously racist movie 300. Invoking this caricature of ancient history to mobilize support for contemporary military aggression is not an innocent historical error. It is a way of manufacturing an enemy by presenting an entire civilization as an existential threat.
History shows us where such rhetoric can lead. The Nazis exploited myths of national humiliation and betrayal after the First World War, scapegoating Jews to legitimize exclusion, persecution, and ultimately genocide. The historical circumstances are different, but the broader warning remains: the deliberate construction of civilizational enemies can help normalize dehumanization and mass violence.
When a senior US official selectively weaponizes a complex history he demonstrably misrepresents, he does more than spread misinformation. He helps advance a worldview in which war between civilizations appears inevitable and aggression becomes defensible. That is how dangerous political narratives are built, and how human catastrophes are made easier to justify.
Your speech is historically uninformed, aggressively Eurocentric, and deeply troubling. At a moment when the consequences of military escalation are measured in human lives, we need historical literacy and intellectual responsibility, not racist caricatures dressed up as civilizational history.
