Today, Arrowhead High School is excited to host several local companies and businesses for our Technology & Engineering Career Fair!
A huge THANK YOU to all of our industry partners who took time out of their busy schedules to share their knowledge, experiences, and career opportunities with our students.
A big thank you to Andy and Jessica from Waukesha Engine for visiting our Engineering & Mechanics class today!
Our students had the opportunity to learn more about Waukesha Engine, the engine manufacturing process, and the wide variety of careers available within the company.
It was great for students to hear directly from industry professionals and see how the engineering and manufacturing concepts we discuss in class connect to real-world applications.
Engineering in action! 🏗️⚙️
Today, students in Engineering & Mechanics put their understanding of torque and rotational equilibrium to the test with our Cantilever Design Challenge.
The challenge gave students a chance to take concepts we’ve been working with in class and apply them to a real design problem. Teams tested their ideas, made adjustments, and learned firsthand how changes to their designs affected performance.
A special thank you to Bob Schultz and Boucher Automotive Group for their incredible support throughout our ASE accreditation process. We’re grateful for their time, expertise, and continued investment in our students and the future of the automotive industry!
🚗🔧 Exciting News for Arrowhead Automotive! 🔧🚗
Today we celebrated a major accomplishment for the Arrowhead Automotive Program — Arrowhead Union High School is now officially an ASE Accredited Automotive Program!
🏗️ Slow Marble Design Challenge!
Students in Introduction to Engineering & Manufacturing put the Engineering Design Process into action with our Slow Marble Design Challenge!
Working in teams and using only limited materials, students had to design, build, test, and improve a solution that would move a marble from a 12-inch starting height into a cup — with one catch: the slowest successful marble wins! 🐢
