Twice a year I google myself using incognito, to see what the world sees when my name is searched. I make sure I go beyond the first 6 pages of the results. Just this morning I dug up this. Apparently I've been mentioned in a journal for the earliest use of Robotic Journalism.
The talent in computer village alone, if you assemble them and give them resources, they will build computers.
The talents on the streets in form ‘welders’, if you give me them resources, they will build these pangolo.
We have this talent.
NIGERIA WE'RE SLEEPING
Have you ever wondered why some countries keep moving forward while others keep struggling to catch up?
Look closely at what is happening in this video.
Machines are manufacturing components. Workers are assembling sophisticated electronic devices. Different stages of production are coordinated with impressive precision.
Now think about this:
Every machine represents engineering knowledge.
Every production line represents industrial capacity.
Every finished product represents value created within the economy.
Here is something worth thinking about:
What if, instead of importing most of the technology we consume, we invested heavily in developing the capacity to manufacture it?
A country doesn't become an industrial powerhouse overnight.
It takes years of investment in education, research, engineering, infrastructure, technology and manufacturing.
The real wealth of a nation is not just what it buys. It is what it has the knowledge and capacity to produce.
Are we paying enough attention to this?

98 containers of power transmission equipment released after nearly 20 years at Nigerian ports — Minister of Power,Tegbe
Over 98 containers of transmission equipment that had been stranded at Nigerian ports for nearly two decades have finally been cleared for release, according to Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe.
Tegbe said the equipment, which was procured to expand Nigeria’s transmission network, ease pressure on overloaded substations and improve electricity supply, had remained at the ports for almost 20 years.
He disclosed that the Nigeria Customs Service had approved the release of the first 98 containers, describing the development as a significant step toward strengthening the country’s power grid.
According to him, engineers will now verify and test the equipment before deploying it to areas where it is most urgently needed. He said the move would help revive stalled projects, reduce pressure on overloaded substations and improve the reliability of the national grid.
Tegbe added that efforts were ongoing to secure the release of the remaining 200-plus containers without further delay.
He expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigeria Customs Service, relevant federal ministries, the Nigerian Ports Authority, terminal operators and the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) for their support in facilitating the release.
“A stronger grid, one step at a time,” he said.
Finland, is running a campaign called the Finnish Dinner Date that is flying ONLY 16 single foreigners to the country for a free 4-day trip and group blind date experience.
ONLY 16.
Yall can rest now.
It’s going to get better.
Sometimes I wish I was just living in a one-room self-contained. Just me alone, no wife, no kids. Just a simple life. Living in a big house with all these expenses, the pressure, and trying to keep up without going broke is hectic. Sometimes it feels like too much. You just want to live a simple life, have peace of mind and not worry about so many things.🤧🤦🏽♂️

Men who give their children their name I feel have ego issues.
Like why would you not want the child to have his own identity?
You instead give him your name, and then add ‘jr’ to it?
There’s something just totally wrong with it.

AI-generated disinformation poses a growing threat to the integrity of Nigeria’s 2027 elections.
Our Lead Research Analytics, Naiyeju Funmilayo Hannah (@INaiyeju92428), participated in BUILD AI 2026, a forum held on October 14–15 and led by @YIAGA, alongside @inecnigeria, @CJIDAfrica and @Dataphytefdn.
From fabricated candidate videos to fake INEC result sheets, AI-generated content can mislead voters, spread false narratives and undermine public trust in the electoral process.
Addressing this threat requires more than reacting after misinformation spreads. We need early detection, robust verification systems, responsible AI practices and voter education in local languages.
At @Orodata, we see an opportunity to translate these priorities into practical action through credible data, strategic collaboration and proactive preparedness.
Protecting Nigeria’s electoral integrity starts with being informed, prepared and proactive.

TV corporations are going to wake up one day when the listening data stops coming and decide that the meaning of “purchase” is “rent” and as such buyers/renters have no reason to tamper with the devices since it’s technically still their property. Soon.
It hurts my soul to see young Nigerians waste their lives.
They are so oblivious of what’s happening around the world. How much more they can be.
