Johnny Blue Skies and the Dark Clouds crush Brooklyn. “We play as long as the curfew allows.” Sturgill Simpson and co. played an impressively relentless, wide-ranging three-hour set at the Barclays Center. I broke it down with guitarist Laur Joamets.

Replying to @RBlumenstein
@RBlumenstein knows the value of putting in the work as a journalist. The CFR member and president of editorial at NBC News built her career by starting small, covering local and regional news in Florida and Michigan, before making her way to national news organizations, including the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times.
With the news landscape under enormous pressure, Blumenstein says she remains optimistic about the future of journalism. “I think that trust is so important, and I believe that a lot of consumers are realizing that there’s a lot of misinformation out there."
"My biggest advice, especially to young people, is to do your job, but also be someone who your boss is happy to see because they know you’re going to take the initiative and be the closer who will help carry things across the finish line," Blumenstein says.

What is so repulsive about his posture is the contempt, the sheer, absolute contempt. He puts on a Maoist uniform and seems to take an almost perverse pleasure in being seen dressed like a man responsible for the deaths of millions. A genuine psychopath.

Cassidy Hutchinson had her entire career ahead of her and she was willing to sacrifice it to do what so few in Washington are willing to do: tell the truth.
She has shown more courage, patriotism, and integrity than the Republican politicians who had far more power, far less to lose, and still chose to remain silent.
She is an American hero and this shameless witch hunt against her is nothing more than a vindictive waste of time and taxpayer resources.
JUST IN: Trump’s DOJ is seeking a federal criminal indictment of former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson, who testified against Trump during the Jan. 6 investigation, for allegedly lying to Congress, Punchbowl News reports.
DOJ’s Civil Rights Division presented evidence to a federal grand jury Tuesday and is expected to present more evidence and witnesses later this month, according to sources familiar with the matter.
