5th year transfer guard Ross Candelino said he took a few of his new European teammates to @Chilis recently and they called it the “best restaurant in America.”
“First time for everything”
@FresnoStateMBB PG K.J. Perry (BYU transfer) is excited to show what he and and his teammates can do this season.

Fresno State freshman and @CWGirlsBball alum Ryleigh Schoonover on representing the Valley:
“It's been a dream since like the fifth grade, so no biggie there. But it's just it's so nice to be around some people who realize what the standard is, and like just to know like to wear that V on your chest…Most people outside of the valley don't understand that.”
Vance Walberg on the transfer portal:
“I wish we had a few players back”
Fresno State Head Coach Vance Walberg on expectations for this season + his thoughts on DeShawn Gory transferring:
“Win,” Walberg said. “I think that's the expectation you all want to see. It's what I want to see. I didn't come here to lose…it’s a little bit tougher nowadays.”
He added that he can’t blame the players. He noted Wilson Jacques got around $125k last season before getting $1.1 million in the portal.
“That’s life-changing.”
