Serious post for once. “Stories like Holly's are why we are deploying the full power of the state to halve violence against women and girls in a decade." bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cjzx… Why isn’t the aim zero a.s.a.p?

Russell Brand invented his defence and it's looking bad. During instructions, Judge told the jury that Brand failed to disclose during police interviews key details of the defence he now relies on. He warned that these omissions could undermine his defence. "These failures to set out his case may harm his defence if you conclude that he failed to mention these facts in interview because he did not have an answer at the time of interview, he had no answer that he then believed would stand up to questioning, or he has invented this account after the interview."

How do you like them apples?
Jury in Russell Brand case told it can draw adverse inferences due to his failure to mention facts relied on in his defence while being questioned under caution, as per s.34 Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994. Brand has said he did not remember the incidents at the time.

There are so very many services that are suffering/struggling/failing at the moment. Policing, Fire and Rescue, Armed Forces, NHS, Social Care, Prisons, Courts and Probation, and almost certainly others. The common denominator is the Cameron/May era of politics

The population of the UK are left with a severely damaged infrastructure, without even mentioning Brexit. And what happened to the 2 main culprits of this devastation? A seat in the House of Lords. I was clearly in the wrong job.

I don’t know what happened in 2010, but it seems to have been going down until then.

On the back of my last, I’m really annoyed that colleagues see fit to nick & bastardise my work and pass it off as their own. Fuck them all.
